Do baby carrots..

Postby Gypsiyee » Wed May 18, 2005 10:13 am

Ever go bad? I've had this bag for like 2-3 months (I got a gigantic bag thinking we'd both eat them and I'm eating them alone! ><) and they're still just fine.. what's the average go-bad time for carrots?

Roots can last all winter....that's why they used to have root cellars. :)

Ya.. but be careful.. Baby Carrots have lots of sugar in them. They have other good benefits too. You just don't want to eat a whole bag in a sitting. They do last a long time but fresh tastes better in my opinion. I usually keep them for up to a month or so then toss and get new.

I know they have lots of sugar in them, hence why we still have almost a full bag! =)
