I'm not reading through that garbage. It's quite apparent that 99% of the players have class envy and can't put forward a rational arguement.

With that being said, mage invisibilty was very overpowered in beta and it definately should not go back into the game the way it was. I wouldn't have a problem with it being a "save me" spell to dump agro but being able to invis up to 25 yards of someone, dump pyroblast, drop an insta-cast nuke and laugh at someone's corpse is just stupid.

For one simple reason, rogues have to be in melee range. The only way a rogue is going to gank you is if you're off alone by yourself, people nowadays simply have too many hit points to take away by the time you get 10 Hammers of Justice on your head in melee range.

At least with the new pvp trinkets you can unstun yourself and escape a rogue. Being blasted out of invis and dead before being able to do anything at all was entirely lame and you would have agreed if you had a mage at the time (even many of the mages agreed it was lame!)
Mages with the insta-cast talent were especially impossible combine full damage nuke out of invis + insta cast + polymorph + another nuke and basically anyone was dead or just about dead.

What the fuck are you even talking about Thon prep/cb? rofl stunlock is also a joke

Have either of you even pvp'd in the past month? Good luck EVERY getting "stunlock" in pvp today.

And for the record i'm pve build without prep (which what maybe 2% of rogues actually have, especially on blue servers?) now.

lmfao stun lock

It doesn't work as well as everything thinks it does. And even then it is only a 1on1 tactic.

As I was saying, too many people have opinions on things they know jack shit about. Way too many omfg he killed me, nerf his class posts.

The #1 spot in pvp on Whisperwind is a mage btw, theres no rogues in the top 10 on either side, I don't think things are too imbalanced. Rogues will excell in small battles, mages excell in zergfests...thats just how it is.

go make a lvl 1 on a pvp server, sit by a busy griffin point, and watch rogues drop anything not in a can of plate within seconds.

before you start frothing at the mouth there are many, many classes with comparably 'gay' fighting styles. my own n00bladin's invulns included. the bliz guy said invis will more than likely be different than beta, my guess is a way to escape multiple chasers, which poly can't do.

Warriors can't escape multiple chasers without visiting the graveyard, why should mages?

It's virtually impossible to balance pvp and pve at the same time without different skillsets. WoW is beginning to have the same problem that EQ had where casters are becoming inferior. Warriors are now doing damage comparable to rogues...so either more +dmg caster gear has to come out or weapons need to be scaled down. Warriors can now do as much damage as rogues/mages yet have more hp and mitigation...the only problem is they have the same disadvantage as rogues have, melee rang...

Balancing PVP and PVE in tandem is what ruins a videogame.

Look at AO >_<

OMG WAAAAH A DOC KILLED ME AND I'M AN ENFORCER

*nerf bat swing*

OMG NOW I CAN'T SOLO MISSIONS AS A DOC

*nerf bat swing*

OMG NOW....

You get the point. PVP and PVE need to be completely seperate mechanics. If not, this game is doomed to follow the same path.
