This didn't change my view on the situation one iota, save to eliminate suspicion of Michael Schiavo beating her. I still think there was something underhanded on his part, but that is because of a gut reaction watching him speak when it all first started hitting the nightly news. In absence of any real evidence to backup my instinct, I'm fine with the court decisions regarding the termination of her life.

What does bother me however is the way in which it was done. We will never know for sure if on some level she suffered while being starved to death. In my opinion if the courts were going to make a decision to terminate her life, it should have been done by direct termination, not removing the feeding tube ect. If they sided with Michael Schiavo, and felt that he was telling the truth that she would rather be dead, then why draw it out.

your sarcasm sounds exactly like your normal posts about everything like this. How is one to know when your actually being serious or just being sazrcastic?

And you dont see how this looks like you really did mean what you said and then rather then admit you were wrong you decided to say it was just a joke?

So you believe that Democrats are good, pure people who wouldn't tell a lie as long as they're in Congress and not the Presidency... or at least not in congress while in the Presidency?

Didn't Republicans have majority in both the House and Senate during that time period?

I guess it was lost to some, but my comment was made concerning both sides of the fence. The mindset that assumes that the comment means one side or the other, is the very same mindset that helps foster the situation where most politicians on some level are dishonest or decietful, because to be completely honest and upfront 100 percent of the time would be political suicide. If your mindset is that the other side is the root of all evil then you need to wake the hell up and realize both sides play the game, and both sides have thier spin.

I may not agree with many of the opinons and views expressed by Arlos, Mop and some of the others here, but that doesn't mean in thier hearts that they don't have the best interest of our country(s) or the world in mind.

Make no mistake... Arlos and Mop do not have the best interest of America in mind. They both have demonstrated that repeatedly. They care more about a minority opinion than what is better for the greater good of society. That kind of tunnel vision is dangerous. And that same tunnel vision is what steers me away from the democratic party, and any other left-leaning organization. Short-sightedness is a classic characteristic of the democrats.
