And when the jerk does that, it does suck for the guild because inorder to keep the DKP balance everyone pays for it. Of course when somone wiht points leave everyone gets a small DKP boost for it.

There will always be people like that, it doesn't matter what loot system you use, that is a posibility. Hell you could give a great itme to the guild leader and the next day he decides to up and leave the guild. Its something you can never plan for.

arlos if you're saying you count what drops people have gotten before, especially if you're just looking at a # of items, that makes it just as likely if not more likely for people to not want the small upgrades

I dont see how this point is arguable at all, unless you've been favored in the use of another system. DKP is where its at.

Unless your dealing with some buddah motherfuckers /random is about 20% less acurate than officer awarded loot.
