If you're in New Orleans tonight, I hope you have a Visa card - because FEMA doesn't accept American Express.

they are saying people buried in the New Orleans area are being washed out of graves, and that the area most likely will have something like 3 feet or higher water, none of which will go down anytime soon.
I think the term they are using for a waster and corpse runs are 'Toxic Gumbo'. Rememind me when I blow my porch light that I dont want to be buried in New Orleans.

They said something about a plastics / toxic chemical plant not far from the city and even if the hurrican directly doesn't spew water at them from the ocean, lake ponchatrain(sp) could "bury" the city in water from the north :\. Either way the city could likely be qualified as a toxic waste dump. One dude said it could take 6 MONTHS for the water to clear :\

What will happen to the Hornets? They'll have to speed up their relocation to Vegas.

If you're in New Orleans today you should be listening to Katrina and the Waves....
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

if you .. oh fuck it...

the only real tragedy in all that has happened is that Rick's Cabaret is probably not open for business.

If you're in New Orleans tonight, stop by Pat O’Brian’s and have a Hurricane... I wonder if they will re-name them to Katrina's one day... for me.
"Liberals believe government should take people's earnings to give to poor people. Conservatives disagree. They think government should confiscate people's earnings and give them to farmers and insolvent banks. The compelling issue to both conservatives and liberals is not whether it is legitimate for government to confiscate one's property to give to another, the debate is over the disposition of the pillage."
