Oh well, you always have your jacked up opinions that are normally the exact opposite of what makes sense but whatever. (you didn't even get to level 60? ROFL but it's such an easy game!!) For someone who played years of EQ to compare the low level experience to WoW is laughable at best. You can't honestly say you had more fun grinding the same spot in Dreadlands compared to killing the boss in Uldaman with 5 people. gimme a break

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, doesn't mean we have to listen.

I agree wow is easy as fuck if you just roll a solo friendly class and grind shit in the world to level. Its just a big sandbox, make your own challenges. My friend(60 priest) and I (60 warrior) decided to see if we could duo to and kill omokk in lbrs. We actually duo'd LBRS all the way to omokk, but we couldn't kill him at the time (the 3 spawn was just too much). Things like that make the game interesting.

Yes, but you're taking content specifically designed for 5 people and doing it with 2 people to make it fun.

That shouldn't be what people need to do to have fun with the game.

Instancing is gay too, won't even get into that one. Kills the social part of the game we all loved. Drama

well once you know the script nothing is hard. there are countless games I can practically beat with my eyes closed because boss scripts or whatever are wired into me. If you do an instance cold it takes... not game skill perhaps but more of a leadership skill. Keeping alliance hunters in line is a game unto itself.

It's the same in every game. Take...I dont know...Vindi or something from EQ. Fun fight the first time you do it. Second, it gets old, third, you never want to do it again. From what I hear (Im not 60 yet) the same goes for WoW. The first time you do a boss anywhere, it will be fun because you have never done it. After that it is old hat.

the problem i found with WoW was that it was so easy to lvl, people out lvl'd encounters, and made them so easy, elimating most of the fun

my 5 man group beat uldaman at lvl 40, it was FUCKING hard, and one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had

most people I know did Uldaman at 45-50, and breezed thru it, and cause of that, thought it sucked

That exactly what I'm saying. Most people (like finny) do shit way past there lvl than whine its too easy. If it's so easy go after the next instance. Thats what we did.

Way past my level?

My guild was always levels ahead of me, so when I went instancing with them I was probably 4-5 levels behind them at all times.

The only instance I went through beyond the correct level was WC for fun in my 30's. I had more fun soloing it than I did going through it in my 20's.

Guild was always ahead of me because they had a monumental head start when I was too busy to go out and buy/install/play for a few weeks.

4 or 5 lvls is not a monumental head start. It's a weekend.

You know that instance you did 4 or 5 lvls below you that was too easy? There was another one you could try with better loot. That's where we were at the same lvl.

4 or 5 levels below ME?

Are you intentionally attempting to be retarded or is it just coming out so naturally that it's flowing like a river?

I was 4-5 levels BEHIND the levels of the people doing the instances and the mobs IN the instances themselves.

Yeah, it would be worthless to even add me into a group at that point. I'd be a healbot (poor one) with totems going.

Heh, I still get told that some of the shit we did is "impossible". Fin, you took the easy route, like doing Sol B at 49 in EQ. The challenge in any MMO is where you find it. You can always fight below your level (like doing Wailing Caverns in your twenties) if you choose to do so.

Sol B I was doing in my 30's, Gypsiyee can attest to that one personally.

WC is intended for those in their 20's I thought? I forget already.

Look I do not have a level 60 yet but I would like to wiegh in here. I have both a Hunter and a Warlock at mid 30's, and a Mage, Priest and rogue at around 20. The game is more about the exploring for me. I keep myself entertained and frankly the storylines on tthe quests are fun and enjoyable...

I cant remeber who it was on the board who said "I should not have to kill Marry Poppins for her fucking Umbrella to finish my Epic" about EQ but it still holds true. the plots on most of the EQ quests were nothing but time sinks and long ass quest runs.

If a Mob is even con to me in a fucking game I should stand a 50/50 chance of killing the bastard. Instead you get crap zones like Gates of Dickheads where at level 65-69 you need a group of 5 or more to take down a even con. By the time your done, your in the middle of cold sweats, your lips have developed a desert palor because of the constant lip shredding going on, and your wife has turned off the lights and gone to bed 6 hours ago right before you told her "Ill be up in a second I just have to kill this one late mob".

WOW is enjoyable for the quest value alone. I love the detail they have placed in some areas, like the Gnomish planes in the side of Iron Forge Mountain. Patch 17, albeit I am a bit miffed because my add ons are fuxor~d I do enjoy what looks to me like a flawless patch. When was the last time you heard that from the nutmunchers at SOE? I think update 2.0 went fine. Of course that was about 6 years ago.

WoW like any other game has it's problems However, the enjoyment and overall astetics of the game outwiegh them. Sure there are times when the log in server pukes, there are times when I have to sit in a que for 1 minute, and there are times when I get kicked but come to think of it I see alot less problems in general with this game then I did with the 5 plus years I played that albatross of a game called EQ.

I hope they add a few more zones and content to the WoW game. I believe the new expansion is out in October? (could be wrong) I will buy it just for more quests to go on and more places to peak in and then run when a mob 15 levels higher than me decided to ask me what im doing there.
