I've been enjoying my recently purchased magnavox 50" DLP HDTV, however, I haven't been using the Monster Component cables recommended for best picture, just wimpy rca cables.
Anyway, the Monster Cable I ordered for my PS2 came yesterday, so this morning I rushed downstairs to hook it up and try it out. The difference was amazing and I can't wait for the others to get here for my other components.
But, 5 minutes into Prince of Persia, the TV clicks off and the over temperature light comes on. This has never happened in the past 2 weeks, with some pretty long GTA: San Andreas sessions and multiple movies being watched on the tv.
Is there something about the PS2 and monster cables that my TV doesn't like? I'm scared I'm going to burn the bulb out or something.
