So only one 'regular' high school?
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

There's a list of 100. I just put the top 10. Yeah it seems that a few of them were public schools.

Their is actually a top 1000 list, though the list in itself is a little missleading. It says its the top 100 High Schools in the US, however it does not include prep schools, if it included school such as Phillips Andover and Exeter, the list would look far different, atleast on the top end.

the local high school where I use to live is in the 150's and that scares me. I never really considered it a good school

What a bullshit list. Based on this?

Public schools are ranked according to a ratio, devised by Jay Mathews, that is the number of Advanced Placement and/or International Baccalaureate tests taken by all students at a school in 2005 divided by the number of graduating seniors.

That ranking leaves out so many important factors it boggles the mind. For instance, I want to know how many dudes are hanging out across the street smoking weed at lunch time. How many girls under 16 are on the pill? Do they offer co-ed phys-ed? Do they offer after-school ACT boot camps? Does the English Lit. teacher like to be tied up and told she's been a very bad girl? This shit is important. Screw Newsweek up Mindia's ass.

Not suprising, wrestling and corn shucking aren't exactly academia. Teet identification, although a valuble skill, wasn't given it's fair dinkum. Also, being able to name one of the two Interstates that transverse the state is subpar. Especially when 20 and 34 were the most popular answers.

Personally, I'd be livin in my own private ~Iowa~ if only I could.

Hah no wonder I considered highschool a joke. My school isn't even listed. How sad, but unsurprising.
But, our top rival school is #133. Go fig
