"Superhumans" and ethical concerns
Moderator: Dictators in Training
Interesting how the thread starts with someone once again bashing Christianity without reason. All because some Christians don't believe in moving forward with technology like this doesn't mean that all don't.
Darcler, where in any post did you get the idea that I 'hate gays?' I certainly do not. For your information I have gay friends from Minneapolis (where I spent a year going to school about two years ago), Shanghai, Singapore, and Australia that I keep in regular contact with. I have had discussions about gay marriage with every single one of them. Not one was offended by what I had to say. Why should you be? They understand where I'm coming from, and they're ok with that. Some of them actually agree with me. The point is is that I don't hate gays.
Back on topic..... I would love to see this technology advanced as long as certain ethical lines aren't crossed. I'm not expert on this subject so I don't really know where those ethical lines are. I'd have to be more educated on this topic to be more specific.

With that sense of humour you must be a real winner at the parties.
Haha, I constantly think to myself how ridiculous it would be to bring any of these NT people to a party. It would be so embarassing. Could you imagine if you brought Mindia to a party
Quite true. I don't get along with immature, know-it-all punks who, at the tender age of 25, think they have the whole world figured out, and they think they are fashion-savvy by wearing backwards-turned baseball caps and oversized pants that hang half way down their ass and they think chicks think that's sexy and they don't even realize that classy chicks laugh at bozos that dress like that. LOLZ
No thanks. I go to parties where people have pride in their appearance, and discussions usually revolve around business, politics, and religion... things that wouldn't interest the majority of NT'ers. At the parties I attend, nobody talks about who has the most intricate tattoos, or how badass they think the latest tool album is, and you certainly will never smell marijuana smoke at my parties, or watch some tool down a couple beers in a beer bong. It's all about maturity. I wouldn't even want to attend a typical NT'er party. I did all that in my late teens to early twenties, and it's quite clear that many of you are stuck in that rut.
Now, that I can agree with.

"Parties" involve kegs, beer bongs, high school girls and at least 1 person jumping from the roof into the pool.
When you grow up you will realize that what he described is actually a party for adults. What you described is more like a frat party and restricted to what adults like to call "immature losers" or kids that don't know better, but think they do.

Making jokes about ladies taking it in the pooper is the height of maturity.

Having fun and being stupid are 2 differnt things. Granted, your immature way of having fun can lead to stupid things while my mature way of having fun leads only to everyone getting safely home without a hospital visit.

She said it and I quoted it for all to remember. Where does it say I am making a joke about it? You need to stop reading into things so much. You only make yourself look like an ass, ass.

I am fun to party with.

There you go talking about ass again. I don't think I want to go in your closet.
Once again, you resort to elementary school tactics. It just goes to show how witty you actually are. "Hurrr... you said ass! You must be gay!" This is Canada's finest?
