So they have 2 separate progression servers now?

It's almost like they feel obligated to follow every good decision with an equally shitty one.

There seems to be a lot of popularity over these servers. They have also said if the populations on them dont stay high they will merge them. Right now most of the uber guilds who plan to play are going to combine. They want to compete against each other ect. Many of the people who want to play pvp and those who want a casual game are going to sleeper.

I read a few weeks ago somone posted it is going to cost more to play progression. That is a lie. It was assumed that would be the case because both servers are marked as "preferred."

Also, I'm excited to play the old game. I was lame enough to start a "trial" character on a random server to see what it would be like. I was supprised to see how many quests there are oldworld for every single class. Ranger for example has ivy eched, mourin blade, and trueshot bow. Plus many more. I totally forgot about the sol ro armors ect.

Anyways, I think it will be fun to pass some time doing all the quests and exploring the content. Especially with friends.

I remembered doing these quest 6 years ago. Took me many tries before I was able to fletched that damn trueshot bow.

I don't think anyone cares about anything past Luclin honestly, I foresee a HUGE dropoff when Luclin is released, and an even larger one after.

Yeah the casual people that never learned those expansions to begin with might drop out but the raid encounters are ten times more engaging in every expansion after Luclin. Since raiding is basically the basis of the new servers, I would expect people trying to jump toward the encounters that are actually fun and not just a CCH keeping the tank alive.

It'll be years before it gets there I bet. With 450 people alone in GFay, I think it's safe to say that there will be enough guilds around that every mob will be on a timer and there will be a fucking stampede when one spawns and endless KSing and drama.
