Year before ( 6-10 ) year before that ( 5-11) year before that (7-9).

And the years before that the Eagles went to the playoffs 3 straight times because of a soft NFC East. You could expect 6 wins from the division because we had sorry coaches like Jim Fassel, Dave Campo and Norv Turner/Steve Spurrier.
Andy Reid outclassed them then, but is now outclassed.
Redskins stats from last season...
Total Offense: 11th
Total Defense: 9th
Division record: 5-1
Conference record: 10-2
2006 Strength of Schedule: 3rd in the NFC East
(Giants have the toughest, then Eagles, Skins, Cowboys.)
You can honestly say that with the way the Redskins performed last season and with some of the pick ups from the offseason, that they will just fall to the bottom of the NFC East?
Bullshit.
Eagles Bring Back A.J. Feeley

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Eagles brought back quarterback A.J. Feeley on Wednesday and released quarterback Koy Detmer and receiver Todd Pinkston.
The signing of Feeley, released earlier this week by San Diego, completes a profitable cycle for Philadelphia.
The Eagles originally drafted him in the fifth round in 2001 and he started five games in 2002, leading the team to four wins when Donovan McNabb and Detmer were both sidelined with injuries.
He was traded to Miami after the 2003 season for a second-round draft pick that the Eagles subsequently used to pick wide receiver Reggie Brown, currently a starter. Now they get him back without surrendering a player or a pick.
Pinkston, entering his seventh season, appeared to be on his way out when the Eagles traded for receiver Donte Stallworth on Tuesday.
Pinkston missed last year with a torn Achilles' tendon and battled soreness in both ankles during training camp. He caught one pass for 4 yards in the preseason.
Detmer had spent the last nine seasons with the Eagles, but the team signed Jeff Garcia in the offseason to be McNabb' insurance policy.

Also, the NFL is much more competitive than it was before.
I think Andy Reid is a good coach, but I think a lot of success is being in the right place at the right time.

How can you tell, when the team he's on has 87 other head coaches on their roster, and spends more on their team than the US Army has in Iraq?
