Incorrect.
Taxx actually makes a good point. Your 15 levels of wow is a good "ez mode" just as how your 50th EQ character would be easy to level to 15. Once you get to 60, its still easy. Now just like in EQ, if you want to be "ubber" you have to raid or rank up in pvp. Pvp is a time sink with little to no skill involvement(if you go the easy route, but that could change this coming patch with the new honor.)
Now to the raiding part. Just recently Ive changed my stance on this. its alot harder to raid and gear up in WoW. Ill give you the reasons to. Harsher learning curve in EQ, meant people knew how to play there classes better at the max level. Harsher leveling curve meant people would play the class they leveled to 60 unless they were about to die or had a druid to PL them, wow to 60 takes about 3 weeks of CASUAL play, EQ casual time to level was much longer before.
Instance, well now since everything is instanced(minus YOU FUCKING COCK SUCKING MOTHERFUCKING FAGGOT ASS ALLIANCE WHO LIKE TO GRIEF US ON THE FUCKING DRAGONS AND TURN INTO FUCKING MUSHROOMS, OR SET UP ALLIANCES WITH COMPETING GUILDS TO FUCK US OVER SO THEY GET THE LOOT) you dont have cockblocking. Due to the previous reason, you always have a trinkle of new players after a few months, which means regearing, some older/core members dont like this and leave also which is bad.
EQ after a doomed raid you usually got out with very minium losses maybe 4% of your exp, after a bad WOW raid, you get out with 30-40g less money. Which takes a few hours to refarm unless your a herbalist, then your competiting with the rest of your guild to pick plants the quickest to remake the consumables you used while trying to make the repair cost back.
If all EQ dungeons were instanced it be alot easier then wow in my opnion if it stayed the way it was prior to the new changes. Leveling/questing/SOLO progression is alot easier in wow, I will agree.
