Cabernet, that is about the most retarded thing i have seen lately. single pulls are too easy and flat out boring. and you would pay to see an SK FD split mobs? hell i see SKs do it all the time....for free. they must be some dumbass SKs then since you are willing to pay.

Gonna have to go with Riddek 100% here.

Shoot, in a normal dont need a slow just a cripple. Mobs are wuss and dont stay long enough to warrant the mana.
Puller my ass, ARROWS are the answer.

Hard LDON with no CC is almost an adequate challenge.

Cripple is useless in normal exp situations... and damn near worthless on a raid. It has some nominal effect on MOB procs and rampages, but to what degree is still debated.

Ive noticed DPS increases if you cripple a mob, especially for characters with low ATK.

And Im with the crowd that likes to cripple raid mobs with procs etc.

I hope to god you are joking, because the average level 65 player is as retarded as the people I met at level 15 in the Oasis 4 years ago.

Abso-fuckin-lutely.
You don't need any skill. Any whatsoever, to level to 65 and get AAs nowadays.
With just a support tank at your side you can PL yourself to 65 in a few days of work, add some AAs in a week and get all flags in a month ( if spawns are bad and/or the guild doing the flag hates you ).

Lvl 65 means jack shit.

High Risk Ldon does not actually require CC, its more fun just grabbing a ranger or wiz and faking it ...... Normal Ldon does not actually require a healer, a paladin or ranger works welll enough.

First sensible post in the whole thread. :)

LDoN's (and the game in general) are boring if you don't push yourself. Even high risk ldons are trivial now with a good group, I am awaiting the level cap increase in OOW to possibly have an actual challange in ldon again.

The best and only way to find good people is trial and error (mark the good players in your friends list) and pay attention to guild tags.

Guild tags.. thats a killer for me. Id like to join some n00b guild but I know id never see a group again.

As a bard ldon is cake. I provide my own everything to where if we lose it can be prolly blamed on me. Recently I entered a hard where I just couldnt lull the room (IM4 SM3 JM3, its not the AA's) and after wipe 4 we called it quits. Yay resists.

PS It sucks not having uborz guild tag also cause I frequently get thoes "who the fuck are you" sorta tells asking if I have over 5 aa's and if im a newbie~

btw Jeddas 172 AA/born '01 :O not a lot consitering how long ive been playing but I dont live on EQ like *some* people

That only shows that you havent done alot of LDoNs, IMHO.

People die, it happens. Not every group has a good puller, you dont always have a chanter willing to do LDoN.
Good thing I play a cleric, or I'd be in groups without one from time to time, too :P

And rare deaths on hard advs ? Share some of your weed.
Or explain what your definition of rare is, at least.
Especially guk advs on hard setting are hell cuz of the broken targetting in there.
Takish hard still gives me nightmares of not healing my group in time.
Rujarkian has one zone where on the first pull ( break in ) you get 4-6 mobs, no matter the puller. Only trick there is to have a bard and chanter mezzing for all their skill and the rest trying to dispatch them afap.

On a shaman, I was playing main healer and slower on a hard, because the cleric went LD. That was with a Nameless Love warrior as MT, his wife as a bard (so in other words, bazaar geared) and 2 other unguilded people. He died once, and we completed the mission with 30 minutes to spare. Let me get Xaasf back, I will show you how healing is done, unless you group me with a pile of retards.

Pacemaker sucks as a cleric and we rarely, if ever, have a death in hard ldon. That is with pulls of 2 to 3 mobs at a time. Everquest is not hard if you are not grouping with retards, period.

That isn't me thinking it, its me knowing it. Ask anyone who overlooked my obvious character flaws of personality in game, and they will back that up 100%. (not to confuse me with Morgreth or anyone who played my cleric when I wasn't on, I mean when DangerPaul was holding the reigns and actually cared enough to pay attention)

Does anyone actually do these anymore?

Last time I checked the camps were abandoned except for maybe one 65 group if you're lucky.

Most of the hardcore have completed their charm and moved on to aug farming elsewhere, but you still get quite a few groups of people doing these..... just not nearly as many as before.

Getting an AA every half hour in Kod Taz with the hopes of a good aug > Ldon.
