I believe she miss spoke Araby, and that she later discussed in an interview that she did not believe Omar Sheihk knew of Bin Ladens whereabouts (which would imply that he'd not been murdered). I'll try and find a video or transcript for you. It would be rather odd for such a prominent figure to make such an off hand comment regarding something so significant, and that it wouldn't be major headlines, and only now get any sort of real attention.

Aired November 3, 2007 - 17:00 ET the day after the Frost Interview

http://edition.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0711/03/cnr.06.html

WHITFIELD: Do you Musharraf -- I'm sorry. Do you think General Musharraf knows where Osama bin Laden is?

BHUTTO: I don't think General Musharraf personally knows where Osama bin Laden is, but I do feel that people around him are many who are associated with the earlier military dictatorship of the '80s. That military dictatorship formed the Iran Mujahideen. The Mujahideen subsequently became Al Qaeda and Taliban. So I believe that break has not been made between the supporters and sympathizers of the Mujahideen and thereby, of the Taliban and Al Qaeda that is necessary. We need an administration and a security apparatus that does not have people with links to the Iran Jihad of the '80s.

Note the question was about Musharraf not Sheihk knowing Bin Laden's whereabouts which is different then what I posted previously. It's not as airtight and indicator, if you consider that it was not the alleged murderer knowing the location of Bin Laden that she was asked about... but I would think that if she believed he had been murdered it would have been brought up again in this question, as knowing the location of a corpse is a mute point in this context.

Lueyen I listened to the video again, and she specifically says the name of the person who murdered Osama Bin Laden.

He didn't catch it...she says it as clear as day. I don't believe that she happened to "misspeak" right at that moment, she is very articulate. She knew exactly what she was saying. She mentioned three people, and says there is a blind eye, she is asking for help from Scotland Yard or the FBI to find the sponsors and organizers of the Islamist groups...

The next day they didn't ask her that, they asked her if Musharraf knew Bin Laden's whereabouts...then she goes on to say that Musharraf is linked to people of the Jihad, which she believes are a threat to her life, as well as Raul Bendi who held a press conference and sent a direct message to Bhutto telling her that they will come after her if she returns..

she says at 7:59 that her party naming will make it worse for her...she says later, that even though she and Musharraf both "want" to work together, she knows that when she can't file a police complaint for the threat on her life that the transition isn't going smoothly, and that basically Musharraf is linked to Jihad...

Oh she very clearly stated Bin Landen as being the one murdered by Sheihk, there is no doubt there.

Keep in mind what Bhutto was talking about, she was drawing a link to the at the time un-named person in the Pakistani military and individuals known to have been part of various organizations that wanted to see her dead or at the very least prevent her return to Pakistan, and individuals who were the type that would consider murder as a means to achieve this goal. She was talking about this persons relation with Omar Sheihk who's prominence on the world stage is due to a murder, but not that of Bin Laden:

http://www.hinduonnet.com/2002/07/16/stories/2002071604980100.htm

I also discovered that the video you linked was not what was actually aired. In the piece that actually ran, the comment about Omar Sheihk being the murderer of Bin Laden was edited out. If she did indeed miss speak Frost nor herself may not have stopped to correct it simply because they knew it would be edited out. She had also moments before mentioned Bin Laden in another discussion and perhaps had his name on her mind. Who knows, perhaps it was a miss-speak perhaps she believed and meant to say what she did. Unfortunately she can't be asked about it now ><.

With the context of the discussion, the people mentioned and the reason for their mention, the lack of retraction either by herself or Frost, the mention in a later interview one day later of someone not likely knowing the whereabouts of Bin Laden (inferring an assumption that he was still alive), I do believe she miss spoke.

That all being said, I don't consider that to be definitive proof he is still alive. A recently released Bin Laden video does not mention her assassination... which if you really wanted to prove a genuine recent video would be something I'd think you would mention. His speech in the video concentrated a lot on Israel, something Bin Laden had picked up the cause of previously and was berated by Yasser Arafat for doing. The video rhetoric somewhat back hands Arafat in that it speaks of the concession of other groups toward Israel, and states that is something Al-Qadea is not willing to do, and that the only acceptable resolution involves the complete removal of Israel. IE I'm suspicious that the recently released video was created a few years ago when Arafat was still alive.
