It's mostly legit if you check the bibliography.... but he's not all stars. he wrote a few years ago that the human genome is simply four amino acids, and I think any high school science student should know how wrong that is... but when I tried to find what the general opinion of him is, I only found good things save for that genome statement
he also wrote a small blurb about intravenous vitamin C studies and how the NIH won't publish the research .... but if you go look for abstracts around the web you'll find quite a few successful double-blind placebo tests where intravenous vitamin C increased the levels of blood concentration by 140-fold, which essentially makes hydrogen peroxide flow through your veins, and it helped almost every cancer patient they treated with it. also helped with general colds and flus, too
