Except many of the original EQ NPCs were named after MUD players Brad knew, so it's cyclical...
Anyways, there are thousands of NPCs, and only a handful have their roots in ex EQ WOW guilds...
I'll play whichever game is better.. I'm still bummed that Warhammer Online got cancelled...
yah me too.... Warhammer Online looked great. It really had a very sinister look to it, which is a big break from all the other generic fantasy games being produced now.
ya, the Developers <how can you not like a Dev group named Climax?> were sticking to a dark, nasty, Gothic feel a la the Warhammer roleplaying game, with an emphasis on Chaos Warpstones and a very 'adult' theme...
All gone, and were left with the PG Games...

I have control over who gets into beta? Wow, I never knew. rofl.
I play Warhammer m'self, and was definitely looking forward to WO. Dunno if I've played it, since if I remember right they were big about PVP (and I've made my position on non-consenual PVP quite clear). If that's true, I probably wouldn't have played it.
Anyway, I'll stick to playing the miniatures game. Regionals for Emperor's Champion tourney this sunday, if I win, I get a free trip. heh.
I can't wait to get it. Then when I'm level 50ish, I'm coming back to sic my pet on you and take a chunk out of yer fat arse!!! Just run, then Im gonna run like crazy MUHAWHAWHW
