Are you saying MMORPG's require talent?...lol

some, compare it to being a cleric in EQ and knowing when to heal and what spells to use, or a shaman and when to stop Canni

MMORPG's take a certain degree of talent.

The cleric skill she stated, which is a BIG deal. Properly timing heals in EQ was the staple of a good cleric. When to switch and heal and WHO to heal in a difficult situation was also one.

But it all depends on the class, some are INFINITELY easier to master than others.

I think some of the asian guilds have proven that talent isn't needed when it comes to MMORPG's.

True it isnt NEEDED, but they possess the basics to get by. And substitute talent with sheer numbers. (they used to, theyve calmed down with that BS last I saw)

What they did with 100(required or would have lost),;
we would do with 30-40(probably have more there, but could be done with that number) etc.

So you agree, I could level her up and she could still get by right? I'd rather she only knew half of what she was doing rather then not play with us at all.

And after beta is over, even open beta. By release I'm sure she'll learn plenty no matter how far behind she is.

It's higher level...and a rogue tank doesn't work too well. We could do Gnomeragon with ease tonight with me tanking. Actually I think you and I could duo most of it.

I don't know what quests you are getting. The Rig Wars one I have it green and elite. I did that zone when I was like 35 and I was kinda low. The beginning of it is easy but once you get in a ways it's not simple. There's some nice loot there.

I have a gray SM quest still...
