... is obviously insane.
WoW rocks, it's incredible fun to play. The vast majority of the posts I've read seem to more or less agree with my opinion.
I think Nahinimanidiot is being paid to promote EQ2 or something. If so, whoever is paying him needs to fire his ass and hire someone with a clue.
WoW is HUGE. There are numerous places to go from level one to level 60.
You can solo, grinding xp mobs and no quests from 1-60. You can group and do instances / elite quests from 1-60. You can solo and do JUST QUESTS and get 1-60, there really are that many quests to do.
There are a fair number of different types of quests, some just involve finding an NPC, killing a boss or a number of mobs, harvesting mobs for some item. Others can be more complex, such as finding the mouth piece for a great horn that's mounted on top of a hill, then go up there and blow it and fight waves of centaurs until the boss spawns and then kill him.
There are escort quests, there are PvP quests (you are sent to kill a PvP flagged mob - if you do so, the other side's players can attack you), there are timed quests, an example is one where you are sent to get a cold eye basilisk haunch and have to bring it to a restaurant in 30 minutes so the cook can make a special meal for a noble's birthday...
Not only do you have tons of content (and you do), it's all in there for BOTH factions, horde and alliance. There's a LOT of lore, storyline stuff, what have you. The atmosphere of the game is pretty damn good.
There are also many "dungeons" (be it a castle full of hostile mobs, an actual torture chamber of the scarlet monastary or whatever), some instanced, some not, some a bit of both.
The instances I've seen in game so far include some low level ones (Wailing Caverns, Darkfathom Deep, Deadmines, that instance in Ogrimar, Stockades, Shadowfang keep), mid level might include Gnomeregan, Razorfen Kraul, Scarlet Monastary, Uldaman, Razorfen Den, Zul'Farrak and high level instances including Sunken Temple, Blackrock Depths, Blackrock Spire, Stratholme, and Scholomance.
All of these work, though it can be argued that the upper portion of Blackrock Spire is meant for two group raiding - which though possible currently disables questing (in an instance).
There are still instances not implemented so more content is coming. There are innumerable non-instanced areas to play with.
We haven't yet seen raid content in Beta but I've seen a number of instance entrances that are probably raid intended, and there are three zones not yet accessable that are probably intended as raid zones.
I've seen the entrance to a PvP instanced zone, I don't know if there is more than one entrance currently implemented in game.
Geez, I seem to have rambled on a bit. The game is huge, it works, it has many things to do, haven't touched on tradeskills for instance, there are many things you can make so far, and more still being added.
