Some of you may or may not know that I did a good deal of interface modding for EverQuest, though I didn't distribute it. The WoW interface allows for some great stuff, and Cakaris and I have taken advantage. Playing WoW and missing the best parts of the EQ interface? This is for you.

Main features:

- Move and lock every persistant on-screen item except the mini-map cluster. This includes the action bar, player bar, target bar, party bars, buff bar, and even the casting bar.
- Improved action bar with 29 total buttons. We've removed the action bar art, mini menu buttons, lag meter, and relocated the experience bar. There is also an option to use a Neverwinter Nights style 'Turn-Page-On-Press' feature, which lets you quickly change to the next page of action buttons when you press a key, which you may bind in key bindings, use any actions you wish, and quickly change back by releasing the button.
- Improved information displays. Both the player and party bars, as well as the player buff bar, show extra information such as health, mana, experience, and buff durations in easily readable text.
- GypsyMod main options menu, available through the Gypsy_Shell add-on, allows easy configuration of the MANY options available in our other add-ons, and a lock-all button to lock all GypsyMod movement Capsules in place. If you prefer not to use the menu, each add-on is fully outfitted with slash commands, including individual lock commands, so you won't lose any functionality.
- And one of my personal favorite aspects of GypsyMod is the fact that it modifies none of the default interface files - it operates solely through add-ons. This is significant because it means updating GypsyMod for new patches is nearly instant. Also, any of the GypsyMod add-ons can be used together or seperate, without ANY fuss, and are compatible with many other popular community add-ons.

Appreciate any feedback being left on our here

Dude... that rocks!

The only thing I don't like about it so far is that I have to train myself to look in a different place for my health and target. Is it possible to keep the detailed windows - but move them to the Default placements on the screen? I'm not asking for a personalized custom MOD - just if it's possible to change that from the interface (I didn't see a way to do it).

Sure Ug.

Go into options, to the 'UnitBars' tab, make sure 'Group Unit Frames' is checked, then uncheck 'Invert Unit Frames'

Ha! I've been using it a while (got sick of cosmos bloat more than anything) but had no idea you were the source. Thanks for a great mod.

Is it possible to unlock the windows for the hotkey'd buttons such as the quest window or your inventory? I can't seem to find a good placement that doesn't cover up my chat window when I'm reading quests or my hotkeys when I'm in the inventory. :/

Unfortunately I'm stuck at 1280x1024 resolution and will probably end up shrinking my gui size instead. I still love the gui regardless. :)

Thanks,

Would definitely recomend using GypsyMod at the minimum UI scale.

Teez, the main menu buttons can be turned back on if you go into the HotBar options. It will give you a little row of them, which you can move independently, and toggle on/off with a key binding if you so desire.

I have had one issue with this. When I group sometimes it does not display your party members stats correctly and does not update their health.

Currently working on a total re-write of the mod, should answer a few issues/feature complaints. BTW Lenardo, Quest Minion works stand alone, and will work with GypsyMod just fine. QuestShare I'm not sure on.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Duro, your problem is a known one, and will hopefully be puzzled out with the re-write.
