I'm bored at work, so I thought I would list out a couple of quests for those you playing EQ2. Keep in mind I am at work and not in front of the game, thus I don't have access to all the NPC names...
Leggins Quest
Level - 14
Group
Talk to the merchant in the Clothing Shop in North Qeynos. She'll tell you that she needs 4 or 5 (I don't remember the exact number) Oakmyst Great Bear pelts. Go to the Oakmyst Forest and slay the Great Bears. Return to her after you're finished and she'll award you some money and a set of leggins. I am a level 14 Predator and I could not solo the bears, thus you might need a helping hand.
Bracer Quest
Level - Under 14
Solo
Go the Armor Shop in Babbleshire and talk to the assling in the back corner (behind the merchants) standing by the stove. He'll tell you he needs 5 badger pelts from the Ruined Forest. Go there and lay waste to the badgers. Return to him and he'll award you with some money and a set of bracers.
Weapon Quest
Level - 14
Group
Go to the Willow Wood and talk to the redheaded female Ranger standing along the path across from the Mender's Shop (blacksmith). She'll give you some story about population control and send you out to kill 5 sea turtle in Antonica. If you zone to Antonica from Willow Wood you'll come out on the doc. The sea turtles are in the water all along the shores of the zone. Being a "Ranger" I had no problem in tracking them... those of you without tracking might have a harder time. They aren't very far out, but the do move around. I could solo *some* of the turtles at level 14, but for others I needed help. When you're finished, return to her and she'll send you on a second quest to kill 3 Red Tailed hawks (also in Antonica). To get to the hawks, go to the bird tower by the South Qeynos gate and fly to the Steppe. The hawks are near the Oracle tower - they are usually out of range from spells - but they do swoop down and hover long enough (and in range) for you to cast on them. The two of us (both level 14 - easily killed them). Return to the hottie ranger and she'll send you on a final quest to kill 7 crabs (I don't remember their exact name). The crabs are found on the far beach on the other side of Antonica. It took two of us to kill them and we needed to rest between every two kills. They conned orange and yellow for us. After you finish the crabs just gate back (call of Qeynos) to Willow Wood and talk to the Ranger.. she'll give you some good exp, some money and a weapon. One of which (at least for my class) was a pretty nice bow that I can't use till my archery skill is at 80 (I guess one or two more levels).
The Earring Quest
Level - Under 14
Solo
Take the Qeynos Highway from the North Qeynos gate... take the right hand path and you'll eventually run across a broken down tower (in disrepair) with a fallen bell in it. Click on the bell and you'll be given a quest to kill 40 gnolls. Any gnoll will work... and we decided to go back to the North Qeynos gate and kill the pups right by the gate area. They have a very quick respawn timer and weren't at all difficult to kill at level 14. After killing the 40th gnoll your earring will pop up in a window as will some coin (you don't have to return to the bell).
The Title Quest
To get the title of "Hunter of Gnolls" follow the shore line from the South Qeynos gate until you come across a small single tent camp. You'll have to go around a ton of gnolls in the way, but stick to the shore line. Once there you'll see a Squire (don't remember his name - starts with a V). Talk to him and he'll send you to Black Burrow to kill 10 gnoll miners. You'll need a group with a good healer to get this done. Once the gnolls are dead, return to the Squire and from that point you'll need to kill 500 gnolls to earn the title. I haven't accomplished that yet - so I don't know the rest of the details.
I'll post the betrayal quest in detail *for Qeynos* players tomorrow.
A quest *hint* - it seems that as a general rule, if the quest you're doing requires killing something(s) the reward will be an item of some sort. If the quest just requires you running around delivering shit - you'll probably get jack in return. Just a general rule that I've noticed from playing and doesn't apply to ALL quest.
