Harrison, you can plug any drug into your sentence.

Lets not get started on the pot is bad thing, there are users and abusers across the entire altered state spectrum, from alcohol to meth.

O, maybe I missed something, Harrison, you don't drink don't smoke, what do you do? I know, you spin in circles to get dizzy don't you? (geez, how cliché is that)

The type of event you describe is something I'd see someone do strung out after snorting a good 8ball (that'd be good bit of coccain for the non-drug types). Now I've seen some real ass-holes on coke.

Well that it your opinion I guess.

So, kizzy, he only had pot in his system, that is what you are saying by proxy, is that correct?

No other drugs (meds, booze, etc), only pot?

Sorry, I'll bite and call your bluff / bullshit.

Since he is in prison, his case is public record, I'd be real curious to read that report.

Ok, I will request a copy of everything. Maybe, if you are right, then he has a leg to stand on when he tries to get his sentence reduced next month.

He was an accessory to murder. Maybe he shouldn't have his sentence reduced.

Maybe since you don't know the whole story, you should keep your cockholder shut.

Are there more details you're willing to part with Kizzy?

I wasn't aware of the "accessory to murder", perhaps I skiped a sentence reading someplace.

Couldn't you just stand next to someone who shoots someone else to be an "accessory". Just being a friend of a killer while at the scene makes you an accessory does it not?

What I am trying to determine here is did he kill someone and was that killing because he was high or was he just "there" and happened to be stoned?

Does the whole story really matter ? The dude took part in a murder they got a place for people like that.... its called jail.

If I remember right (She posted the whole story at one point) he got high, made a bad decision, hung out with the wrong people, attempted a nonviolent crime which went south and someone ended up dead, made him an accessory and because he was high and made a bad decision this left her with the impression that pot was bad mmkay?

Texas doesn't have accessory laws which is why he was charged with murder.

He didn't know waht was happening, he didn't know what was going on, he didn't plan anything, after it happened, he freaked out, hid the weapon, and fled the state for a couple of months. He came back and turned himself in.

The Kizzy wrote:Not sure, I didn't hear abou tit until after he was in, and my parents shelter me. From what I know, he was high, him and his buddy went to pick up some cash for drugs, his buddy pulls out a sawed off and shoots the guy taking the cash and the drugs, and my brother hid the weapon. It happened in Austin in a church parking lot. The guy who pulled the trigger got 40, my brother got 20, they are trying to get his sentence reduced now, its been 5 years.

need to work on the quote function, Tug

Yeah I blame him, he was the idiot. He is the one who made the bad choice, but of course I want his sentence reduced, he is my baby brother. However, I feel if he wouldn't have been high at the time, he would have made abetter decisions.

Again, i don't know the whole story, just he bits and peices my parents tell me.
