man the habs got hosed last night, koivu gets turned into a cyclops and there is no penalty call

I wonder if anybody is going to get fired/traded when Dallas gets the boot

dunno

the stars are really close~

they need probably 1 more good defenseman, and 1 more scoring threat

The officiating has been the worst I've seen in playoff games then ever before.

Are the other non wings/oilers games being handled this way?

12mins of penalties in game 3 against the wings
2 5on3's against the oilers last night in P1

It isn't even pro wings or pro oilers just the refs are going freaking blind.

Same goes for all the "video review", when did this turn into the NFL!! To quote Micky Redmond (who is nearly blind it seems himself), WTF is all the tomfoolery

I don't understand how with all the bullshit calls, they let go the interference that enables the winning goal

and vid replay hoses the oilers out of a goal

again

i didnt see any penalty with the lidstrom goal.

and they didnt get hosed out of a goal, it didnt cross the goal line. thats like saying the redwings should have won game 3, but video replay fucked them over.

erm, lidstrom knocked over the oilers forward while trying to screen him from the other defenseman

that should have been interference

You can't knock down a defender who doesn't have the puck

it's the same as in the NBA mostly

You can pick a guy if your feet are planted, but if you're moving, it's interference

when cbc showed the camera angle that was pretty much directly behind lidstrom, i didnt even see body contact. i saw the edmonton stick get touched as lidstrom was backing up for position, and the player take full advantage. actin like he got lambasted... if he woulda stayed in the play and didnt take a dive maybe he could have actually played defense and prevented a goal. :dunno:

also go to see how classy edmonton fans are, kinda sad when your arena announcer has to ask the fans not to throw trash onto the ice.

you're an idiot if you think he took a dive

Wings are going down, for shame.

I will say that I don't think it is anything but the refing and goal tending. Legacie(sp) has let some real crap shots past him :\, and that MFer oiler tender has been playing at his top game IMHO. He has a .98 some shit save %, against .89 now on legacy. He damn near made a pass to an oiler and nearly got scored on.

Anyway, the egg formation (/snicker) hasn't really stopped a whole lot, and I think each of the teams are pretty equal in the skating area.

Still holding out hope for my Red Wings, but may have to  to Tikker & his Oilers. Damn, that's rough.

/shrug all 8 of the western conference teams are good. any team other than nashville wouldn't have been a surprise to win (if vokoun would be healthy, they'd be there too)

I think the path to the cup is thru calgary tho. kiprusoff is just too good

edmonton is a lucky group of guys, nothing like bein given a goal to tie up a playoff game.
