Rofl that's very true. All of you guys that aren't already into a game pick a new game to play every couple months. You were all so into Oblivion you even made a brand-new forum for it that hasn't been posted in for 20 days. I remember when you were all back into EQ and everyone was like "Yeah dude totally I'll be on all the time let's all play and make a guild!" and it was like that for 34 hours and then it was just back to the people that were already playing before you guys came. I think Xaiveir is the only one of you re-subscribers that still plays. You guys never made a guild, either =(

I just mean basically it sounds like all these people see a sweet game and want to get really badass really fast and with MMOs, that just isn't how they work, so everyone gets bored and finds some other game to play.

I didn't get on for the last couple days.

Wednesday I went to work as normal, 8:00 am.

Didn't leave work til 5:30 am thursday morning.

Went home and slept for a couple hours then got called back in for 2 hours or so.

Went home and crashed.

I thought EQ was fun for about a month. That's about how long I would have played a single player game and it cost me about the same.

Yeah I'm in an okay cycle in EQ at this point. When I come home at 5am from work I can just log on and raid (like I'd be doing right now if it wasn't a free day) and then go to sleep. I really doubt I'd be having any fun if I'd started a brand new character and I probably would've quit by now if I did.

Which is why I already re-quit EQ, I started a new char and just couldnt take the low levels again.


I still cant get on WoW, my computer is all sorts of fucked and Gid said he would fix it or get me in my old box this weekend.
I might get bored with this new server fast too, because I cant stand making a new char when I know I have higher level chars on a different server. And Gid always says he will level with me, but ends up logging on when I dont want to and jets ahead of me. Sadface.

I'll be on at a normal time tonight.. Probably around 7PM PST. Insanityfair has invite rights... I will give invite rights to a few more NT'ers as soon as I can touch base with them.

I have a char I raid with already a couple nights a week, pvp char is for fun imo~

I have another player I play most of the time when I have some free time. This one is just for fucking about.

Probably 3 or 4 hours a week is the most i'd play, unless I get bored of my other character.

I don't remember the ranking system... I just formed the guild like two days ago...

I think it goes:

Scurvy Dog = Initiate
Swashbuckler = Standard Member
Pirate = Officer
1st Mate = whoever ends up being second in command
El Capitano = Me

I'm going to redo the ranks so they are more clear, I just came up with those in like 30 seconds.

I'm working on a website with a phpbb forum right now.

I have to admit I'm pretty stoked about the game in its current state...

What really made me stop playing the last time was the server problems...This servers is running damn smooth and I'm enjoying it.

I will probably be on a fair amount.

I plan on putting some pretty serious work into this guild and the website. I like the game of course, but I have been wanting to create a gaming website for some time now with a little bit of tech review type stuff tacked on.

yeah i did that for the last three years too and now my guy is able to do something cool so i don't mind an extra hour or two. i'd just be listening to music or playing gamecube or something after work anyways. i guess i just don't really get into new games. i just play this or AoE2 or Diablo 2

no the .cue didn't have any tracks and i don't want to look for another torrent

its a really good game.

the only downfall it has is trying to get a multiplayer game going online. Can take a while sometimes.

It is the best rts out there atm.

Rise of Legends is a good game also. I wish age would take thier multiplayer and use it cause it rocks.

when i play AoE2 i put it on very hard and do 25 max ppls. it takes years to finish a game but it's so lax. the computer doesn't swamp you with a legion of trebuchets after 15 minutes like they do otherwise. but with 25 ppls it's really hard to break into cities and make a real assault. it's pretty fun
