and then i will teach..and when i do, i pray my students spend more time paying attention to what i say than what other people think..it is really an unattractive characteristic in a person

"I" did NOTHING to these people. If my ancestors did something to their ancestors, it is nothing I can control. The politicians of today (as crooked as they are) did not set up the government of the past, they are responsible for the current and future government. So you really can't blame them either. What happened was a travesty, but its in the past. Learn from it and move on.

I'd honestly like to see the blockbuster that has 550 + employees and made 400 thousand dollars on sunday alone, I am fairly certain with in the influx of netflix and downloading of movies we actually donated more to schools in baltimore this year than blockbuster made, it would be more but most people dont take the 5 seconds to fill out the paperwork for the program. Seriously if blockbuster paid nearly as well I'd go work there. And I have no say over what a multi billion dollar a year profit company does with their taxes, as I am not in accounting so I am not sure what that means about anything. If they are breaking the law well I hope they get caught.

I already said i had a jaded sense of how the system works, not sure what your entire point is from that whole statement. I've said in other posts that i hate all bottom feeders, black, white, mexican, ect ect - we have this argument everytime. So in simplest terms : take money for reperation, fix schools in inner cities, create youth programs - start creating a way out.

Here's my point, people who work a crummy job and have 6 kids and collect family allowance aren't "abusing the system". The people who hide hundreds of millions of dollars annually and pilfer the government abuse the system. They don't have chocolate covered faces to hate on though.

when i finish my master's i am going to teach creative writing in adult education

that is a pretty bold statement. I have visited every state in the US, except for Alaska. I have visited 4 continents and around 50 countries, and I would never claim I have been every where. I have had loved ones die in my arms, became crippled at age 18, have started and sunk many of my own business ventures, fathered a child I have never met, and am a widower and I wouldn't even think about claiming I have been through everything.

The fact you are going to become a teacher truly scares me. You are completely biased, you are usually a library of misinformation and you freak out if anyone disagrees with you, even when they are correct. I think you need to take off the rose colored glasses, just forget about your imaginary world you live in, learn how to be objective and get some "world" schooling before you try to mold minds.
