I'm Aish on Destromath. Aish is my first alt -- and I rarely play her (because I have no guild, mostly). I'm liking the rouge class more and more every time I log on though. Main is a Shaman on Laughing Skull. I'm part of the most progressed Horde guild, but we're pretty much doing nothing till x-pac - so there comes some rogue time.

In all honesty given my experience a pretty poor rogue. My only saving grace is I know how to play as a team member.

To my own suprise I found recently I could actually kill people. I guess I overestimated the people I was fighting. (gj dying to a dagger spec rog with two swords =/)

is the rouge class new to WoW?
For you

You're a rogue, right? pffft. I'd own you like I do every other rogue with my Druid.

btw--- if you would, an opinion.

I was thinking 16 29 6 (daggers) for PvE.. seems to me the only fight that isnt so hot is like.. Thaddius.. and my rogue won't be killing him anytime soon.

Well, depending on how your guild does thaddius, you might have up to a 50/50 chance of being at his back.

No offense to your skill, but I don't recall offhand him ever losing 1 v 1 to a druid. moonfiremoonfirewhoompfwhoomphfwhoompf

I can see a rogue losing to a well-built feral druid. Stun, shift, heal, dot, regrow, shift back. Bear form can hit 15k+ armor ratings, for insane mitigation, plus thorns damage, etc. Plus use rage in bear form to heal as necessary, charge, and so on.

Not saying it'd be as hard as a rogue beating a Paladin, but I can see a druid of the right build being a pain in the ass. As for me on my paladin, I can't remember hte last time I lost to a rogue. Thorns aura + thunderfury + consecrate + 45sec stun recycle = dead rogues.

I laugh at druids, especially feral ones.

I almost killed a rogue once on Lyion, my 60 druid.

Unfortunately he came back from afk. bastard.

I got the first half of the thunderfury a LONG time ago, before anyone knew what the reward was. All we knew is it was an orange item, listed for 4 classes, and they awarded it to me, partially, I think, because I actually only rarely actually asked for anything.

Later on, that guild had folded and I'd joined a different guild, and their guy with 1 binding had the opposite one from me. (He had Geddon's, I had Garr's). So, when Geddon dropped a binding, rather than have 3 people with half a thunderfury, they let me finish it.

It's not that outlandish anyway. Sure, I don't do warrior or rogue DPS with it, but if the object is to keep the melee slow debuff up on a raid boss, which class is least likely to draw aggro with that proc, and most likely to survive throughout the entire fight?

Anyway, I have an End of Dreams I use when I'm healing (Yes, I got it after all the druids who wanted it got theirs).

Oh, and I did notice you not disputing the Paladin vs Rogue outcome. heh.

rofl. You know how I judge if a rogue is any good or not? (warrior too). If they actually get me to use one of my invuls during a duel. 90%, even naxx-geared ones, I can beat without having to use DS or BOP.

Now, I have my achilles heel classes too. Mages, Warlocks & Priests. Shamen, I haven't duelled enough to have a great base of experience, but I win more often than not.

I've gotten to a few good fights where i actually got to double bandage but in the end it doesn't matter. A rogue trying to solo a paladin is only going to do it for one reason...to distract him from healing the rest of his team.

I got mine well before the druids. Shit -- we didn't even consider giving it to one, it was between me and another shaman. Fuck druids. If its a healing upgrade for me -- why should we cater to their FERAL PvP needs?

And as far as PvP goes - its still the best elemental shaman mace. Right up there for shadow priests as well.

I had a Feral/Resto Druid. Rogues were never a problem for me.

Yeah, he's mighty all right... on a message board, and that's as far as his mightiness goes, and even that is a joke.
