So explain this to me. Is everyone on my team earning points every game as long as they play? Or the ones that are marked Bench, get no points, and I hads 2 waivers the other day, and now I have 1. What are waivers?

Hey Vonk....FYI Luke Ridnour is going to have a good year for the sonics...mark my words.

Nick Collision is going to have a good year for the Suck Sonics as well. Helpfull advice, may want to find on a spot on your rosters for those 2 and keep em off the bench!

Don't worry about those yet... Taxx can explain them to you tonight. Just worry about your starting 5 positions...
1. Point Guard.
2. Shooting Guard.
3. Small Forward.
4. Power Forward.
5. Center.

Im happy with the way my team is now, just reading stats...I dont know much else. Besides alonzo is fucking worthless for me, going to drop his ass.

my buddy is saying the same thing about ridnour... but I don't know if I buy it. I might keep him around for backup guard, but I'm leaning more towards willie green for my backup.

When someone is released from a team they go to the waiver wire for 2 days instead of directly to the free agent list. During the time they are on the waiver wire anyone can put in a request for them. However when the 2 day waiting period is up, the person with the highest waiver priority gets that person.

The team that got that person then moves to the bottom of the waiver wire and everyone else moves up one spot.

They do this so that the person that spends all night online cant pick up every player off the waiver wire as soon as they are released. It also helps balance out the teams, and adds a dimension of skill to the game. It forces you to chose when and where to pick up people off the waiver wire.

Until you have a replacement fin, don't drop him...

if he DOES miraculously come back and have a breakout year, whoever kept him will be quite happy... put him on your bench or injured reserve list and call it a day.

I know I need an upgrade at SG and PF, though Derek Anderson apparently did well at Portland's last game. I just dunno who to trade for, and what to trade for 'em. heh. I am vaguely deep at PG and SF, but even there it's no one too terribly amazing.

You've got good centers and two of the best point-guards in the league... actually, you and Lyion are the most 'hooked-up' as far as point-guards go.

Find someone who is lacking on guards but heavy on forwards and make a trade =p.

Yeah, the trick is knowing what value for value would be, and if I'd get more overall points by keeping all 3 point guards to overcome low production from the PF spot.

Well, if a team is really really desperate for a PG... they could 'trade down' by giving a great forward for a good PG. It might be trading down, but if it makes their team better than it makes sense.

There are a lot more good Forwards than PGs.

Most people have a decent balance, though, and because our league isn't too large I don't see too many teams with holes.

I know someone could use a Finley, Shareef, or Stackhouse...Looking for PG/C. Talk to me.
