2024 Update
- teaching for 14 years
- married
- 2 kids (5 and 3)
- herniated a disc in my back picking up said 3 year old.

I don't game nearly as much as I would like to, and I still get the itch to play EQ.

Nailed myself in the shin with an axe. Chipped off a chunk of the fibula and sliced some muscle.

had a cyst show up on the base of my spine, crushing nerves there. hurt like holy hell. was paralyzed from the waist down - was told that would be a perm thing, get used to it, the nerves don't come back once they get all squished. but - they were not completely correct. had a really nice surgery where they removed the cyst without destroying my spinal cord, fused some vertebrae together & i got some sensation back...enough to walk with a cane, have random areas on my feet and legs that are numb or feel like they're on fire. v for victory.

oh, and in the middle of that mess, my brother ended up taking pill that contained carfentanyl, which killed him. god i hate drugs.
