2 women left in my life, friends or otherwise I consider "respectable"

That's fucking pathetic.

Amy sounds like a keeper and you obviously are doing well. Keep going with the flow and enjoy. Try not to be overly analytical and define your relationship but do keep the lines of communication open with her and continue talking. Good Luck!

I realized I was being over analytical about the entire situation a couple days ago. You're definatley right... I need to just go with the flow...

Shhh...don't tell Kahar that's why I'm home. He thinks it's to take care of the kids and homeschool them.

Dudes of Internet have some serious rage issues with the ladies.

QTF - I'm trying to go with the flow with this girl I know. Hung out a few times before and got to know one another, last night was our first date alone though. Ended up making out for awhile on my couch, she seemed into it, then kinda got cold feet and asked to be taken home. Earlier she got a phone call that irritated her and wouldn't elaborate on it, and she said she had to wake up early, so that makes me think it's not me, but still :dunno: I want to give her some space, but there's a douchebag friend of hers I met that keeps trying to be more to her (and trying painfully too hard) so not sure how the situation will play out.

Eh well, I'll find out this weekend when I get back into town. Just trying to keep my mind from going on flights of fancy and pondering the what-ifs.

I definately know how you feel. There's nothing you can do about it. I find that the more I think about all the possible negative shit the more insecure about the situation I get. I've learned to not think so much about shit and just go with it.

QFT

I found this thread b/c of Mark's pic. Thread delivers!

Two observations:
-- Johnn, how old are you? Teenager, right? Stop thinking you know anything about relationships. How many have you been in?
-- Finawin, what happened with your relationship? Did I miss the news of your breakup in another thread?

My advice: since Amy's probably now a regular here and reads all of your updates, stop posting about your relationship. Also, don't say "I love you" for the first time through a messageboard, and don't tell someone that before you're seriously dating (in case you had told her you loved her before she read it here). That said, post more pics.

No, but he mentioned that she found his profile on NT and read this thread. I just assume that she has continued to come back for curiosity about what he's posting about her.

While it's not true in every case, but more often than not, age goes hand and hand with the acquiring of knowledge. Not to say that that makes all 80 year olds geniuses, but you could stand to learn a lot from people who are older than you are. Your refusal and reluctance to take advantage of knowledge and wisdom from people who are older than you clearly shows you're 1) A retard 2) close minded and 3) egotistical.

She does ask me to bring her back to the thread and show her all the new posts. I have no problem doing so. Everything that I've posted here about our relationship are things that we've talked about. I only posted here to get an outsiders view on what's going on.

Thanks tho;p

Yes it does, actually. The older you get the more knowledge you acquire. Why do you think parents get so frustrated with their teenagers who think they know everything better?

The wonderful part of that is growing up and realizing that all the advice your parents were giving you, was all wrong.

"The older I get, the smarter my parents get" is a great slogan.

Too bad it's utter and complete bullshit...

Not everyone's parents are great sources of insight.

I don't take any advice my father gives me.

My mom hasn't once given me advice about anything in my life, or even attempted to.
