If man and woman are sposed to marry to have children, do people have problems with couples that choose to marry and not have children too ?

there is nothing wrong with gay people, but i think that they should live somewhere else. Simply because when a gay person chills with a straight person, it makes the straight person feel akward. Thats an encroachment on a persons rights. I shouldnt have to feel akward just cause some dude decided to be gay and wants to hit on me all the time.

Seriously we should set aside a part of the US where they can live, they should have equal rights and all, but they should be seperated from us. Maybe san francisco would work ... it wouldnt really matter today anyways because people can communicate so effectively online and over video conferencing. So all the gay people who are forced to move to this place could still keep their jobs and stuff, they could just work from home. I think that gay people would love this too, because then they could meet other gay people in coffee shops and in bars, and they would be certain that everyone they meet is gay. Life would just be so much better for all parties involved.

I ran an editorial in my local paper concerning this when it first reared its ugly head. Now that the whole thing fell through in the senate, I think the entire issue is moot. However, I will say this:

1.) I am not gay. I am married to a woman, and have a family.
2.) I have many, many gay friends.
3.) I am Christian by choice, saved by faith.
4.) I am not for gay marriage, nor am I against it.
5.) I am opposed, vehemently, to the federal government seeking its way into my bedroom, or anyone's bedroom for that matter. The AW Ban was bad enough and thankfully, it is on its way out the door.
6.) If the feds have enough time to worry about what two adult consenting people do with their time in lieu of all of the other more important issues taking place, obviously they need to play EQ, as they have /way/ too much time on their hands.

And, btw, I am an ordained minister, and would conduct a gay wedding if asked. Hypocritical? Some may argue that, certainly. But it will not be the first time I was treated as a pariah, probably not the last.

Now, I shall sit back and wait for the one liners to fly.

My opinion on gay relationships is one that if the relationship itself cannot possibly turn into one that could produce children...then it wasn't meant to be.

I do recall one such line but don't know it word for word: "Be fruitful and multiply".

Now I know this can't happen with homosexual relationships, not to mention that the male and female anatomy were made a specific way-for the sole purpose of bearing children.

Religious beliefs aside...scientifically and logically speaking...homosexuality doesn't make sense.

Who says just because you are in a committed relationship you HAVE to have children. Maybe some choose not to have children for their own personal reasons. I am a religious person, and I feel God loves everyone, no matter if they are gay or not. Its none of anyone else's business what two men do together, so why make such a big issue.
