Several points.
A) Maeya looks like she is 5'5" / 5'6"ish which at the weight of 150 is not considered by anyone outside of those who shop at Lane Bryant to be slim, slender, or thin.
B) Diekan is entitled to his opinions and personal attractions. It is a byproduct of his social conditioning & his personal biology.
C) It is similar to yourself and "Mr. Boifriend" or whatever you call him, most people are not attracted to scrawny people.
D) Ashley's situation is bizarre to say the least. Any outsider looking in would have nothing but questions as to the Kiwi's motives, however the fact remains that they have not gotten married so he has not used her for that purpose.

I don't come here with the intent of insulting people or going on the attack. SOME of you people can't help yourselves and jump on any opportunity you get to sling mud. I would have said anything about Maeya if she had contributed to the discussion without insult and flame attempts. I merely retaliated - as with 99.9999% of the time. The only person here I enjoy attacking first is Harrison.

negating your comment about gyps, maeya, and gyps' kiwi being fat/ugly/whatever does not equal putting a lot of emphasis on appearance. i'm just disagreeing with you.

bottom line, i'm saying you shouldn't base so much of someone's worth on their looks. i'm not saying i don't think a physical attraction to someone is important, because it is--i just think you're putting too much emphasis on it, from who you date to how you insult someone. in the grand scheme of things, appearance really isn't that big of a deal.

p.s. josh is not scrawny >< plus, he's put on like 10 pounds of muscle in the past month or two since he bought his bowflex. so nyah. :P

Hey, smart guy, I didn't even have a cell phone when I attended 2 of the gatherings for CT (of which there were only 3, btw, one that I organized single handedly FOR EVERYONE and two which weren't even CT gatherings, it was a fan faire.) You tell me how, if I did not own a cell phone, I was sitting anywhere with it 'glued to my head'. I spent a majority of my time at these gatherings with Mik and Vyv as they were constants at all 3.

I think that Jay can attest (or even Shiraz if you don't want to believe him, she drove with me to Tennessee, for petes sake) to my behavior while I was there and anything that was said about me - so before you want to sling mud with your pompous ugly old bald ass who obviously can't even turn the head of an intelligent woman who's looking for anything but to get hers and go, perhaps get your facts straight.

If I was such a horrible person who didn't interact with people, you want to tell me how I landed in a 2 year relationship with someone who *WAS THERE* afterward? As for Jonathan - we've been friends for 6 years, again nothing you'd know about because I'd be surprised if you had an actual friend for longer than it took for you to spout off half a sentence before they ran for the hills. Here we have:

Gyps - comes here insults and goes on the attack for someone else's personal opinions - tries to lecture me on relationships when she herself is one of the most obvious cases of being used. Here she is cutting on me for my relationship views while she had to mail order a boyfriend from outside the US.

Then we have Araby - I liked araby and didn't harbor any ill feelings toward her until now. Regardless, she comes here blasting away at me when she herself is in a screwed up situation. Scott walks out on her and she's still dealing with it. This *new* guy is going to end up getting crushed, because we all know he's a rebound. I went out of my way to offer Araby a trip back to the SAV to hang out with her to help her get her mind off the situation. I often dropped notes here and there asking her how she was doing with it. And do I get in return? Scroll through the past few pages. Anyway, she's in absolutely NO position to lecture ANYONE on relationships.

Oh, then there's Harrison. This dude's never had a girlfriend, never been laid, has probably never seen a grown woman naked... porn sites notwithstanding. Yeah, like his *expertise* on this issue really amounts to much.

What about Maeya - well I've never really had a problem with her... I just blasted back at her for instigating me in the first place. However, I will say that, by and large, when the healthier women find a man and get married they tend to get a bit high and mighty...

Now leah just doesn't read the posts all the way through before she starts formulating her replies. If she took the time to actually read them I think she would ultimately get the point. Yet, she's all of 22 - which isn't a bad thing - but when you're that young you have NOT lived long enough to fully understand the mechanics of relationships.

You people are not exactly the role models for quality relationships... here you are mail ordering relationships, still dealing with the scars of previous relationships, have never even had a relationship, finally gets a relationship and allows their ego to swell, doesn't even read the posts in their entirety.
