i think we all need to give a loved one our password/username info to NT so that if we do die, someone will let everyone know so we won't all just be thinking "whatever happened to so-and-so" or chasing obits and rumors like with ralf (RIP, maybe).

When your baby is old enough to use the computer you can give him/her your info leah!

Maybe your kid is waiting for Mr. boyfriend to pop the question before he comes out. How long have you two been together? 8...9 years now?

either name is fine. :P we'll hit six years in july. marriage is on the horizon eventually but i'm not interested in rushing him or laying down ultimatums. we're happy; that's what matters to me most. :boots:

Beards are awesome and women love them.

I've stopped having one for almost 3 years now :\

I whip it out from time to time, but not regularly like I would want to. (inb4 dirty joke)

HA lyion, it's just a joke. and you hush about that clock AND about my age. we're currently of the mind that neither of us wants children, so it's unlikely that it'll ever go from joke to reality. i guess things could change in five years or whatever, but right now, that's where we're at.

and jay, the beard is not ridiculous! it's hot. actually right now it's kind of ridiculous because he hasn't trimmed it in a month or two so it's starting to get a little out of control, but when it's maintained, it is glorious! i love beards.

I guess it depends on your tastes. My fave bands from here are the scholars ( telegraph) , The suicide machines the parka kings and hellmouth. The lead singer in hellmouth jason navarro was also the front man in the suicide machines so its cool to hear him in a new band. I grew up on punk and ska so of course im going to like those bands best . Who do you think is better from Detroit?

Haha I havent thought about the crucifucks in a long. I still like hellmouth better though . Never have been able to make myself like the mc5. I guess music is really an opinion thing you know about punk rock so i prolly respect yours more than others here but i just dont agree.

I didn't figure Spazz to be a techno fan. Jack White entered the scene long after I stopped giving a shit about modern music. I understand he's a great musician and songwriter but I've never been interested in their/his music. I honestly thought that Meg was a joke when I first saw them. I was embarrassed for her when I found it she was really that bad.

Techno is not so good in my opinion dude. To me detroit had the best punk/ska scene while i was growing up and that is what i love it for at least when we speak of music. If technos your thing than i guess be proud of the techno we have given you. I dont care for anything jack white has done. Im not going to tell you he isnt talented just that isnt my style.

This is where its at in detroit myfriend. IM gonna see these dudes at the end of the month and im pumped for it.

yeah that's the whole gimmick. i guess she didn't even start playing until a week before their first show

but check out the Go's first album, because he was their guitarist and it's all-around pretty great

and i really enjoyed seeing his live show for elephant. and the yeah yeah yeahs opened and it was during their first album and it was just a pretty awesome show all around

i haven't really listened to anything since elephant and i don't like the raconteurs tho, so maybe i shouldn't say he's that tight anymore....

yea i dunno i was into that kinda stuff when i was 15. i like jack white because i like the blues. and i like detroit techno because it's.... just totally its own thing. unique, and the birthplace of it all. makes all that fruity IDM shit sound weak
