$9,324 + $3,750 = $13,074
$9,324 + $4,675 = $14,017
Where did my math go wrong?
Unless you were confused by the
$9,324 had been spent to repair or replace various items and to clean offices. That included $4,850 for 62 keyboards, $2,040 for 26 cellphones and $1,150 for professional cleaning.

My opinion is if you're too dumb to figure out how to vote properly then your vote shouldn't count anyway.

As in the number of votes that were not counted or incorrectly counted.
Whether it be the chads, or it be that the order of the people on the ballots was changed in certain areas and in those areas, they had an unusually high amount of 3rd party votes and it just happend that the Demecrate and 3rd party cadidate were swapped on the ballots. And of course that it was the state that his brotehr happened to be the governer of that had all the problems was also fishy.
Regardless, it doesn't matter what you or I think of what happened in that election. I was just pointing out that it was the feeling amoungest the staff and many members of the party at the time of the incident.
That's the excuse the democrats used. Gore tried to buy the election with his attorneys and it backfired on him big time. He looked like a fool carrying on and on about it like a little child who just couldn't accept the fact that he lost. Well, Gore is a retard anyway so go figure.

Thats our government for you. A CompUSA spockman said he could get them identical keyboards for $39 or $33 with gov't discount.
I really with that "I invented the internet" BS would go away. He never actually said it. What he did say was completely taken out of context and then the media ran with it not caring what he was actually talking about.

Sorry, I thought the joke was funny. I've seen the original clip. I couldn't care less if it was taken out of context. It's part of "internet culture" now.

Just a minor rant on my part. Always bugged me how that was blown way out of perportion and then used consistantly as if it was actually a fact the he literally said "I invented the internt"
I would never go into politics, I cant imagine having everything that came out of my mouth analized for futer use to discredit me in any way possible.
