If you say so.

Fox is biased, and people that use Fox News as their primary news source believe lies :

Did I say it wasn't biased?

I'm saying it isn't the fucking devil crowned king of all right wing propaganda you fuckers make it out to be.

Get over it already, you own 90% of the rest of the media...god forbid one doesn't suck as much cock as the rest.

To say CNN is as far left as Fox is right is just wrong.

There's a difference between perceived bias and downright lying, Fin.

Which one are you defending...or attacking?

Fox tells it like it is. CNN and other "yellow journalism" networks embellish their stories, and their commentators are always making stupid anti-right comments. Wolf Shitzer is a prime example of this.

Or of course it could be everyone else tells it like it is and FOX is full of it. Or even more likely, everyone tells it how it will best benefit themselves.

Fox is totally unbiased 90% of the time. Sean Hannity is biased towards the right. Bill O'Reilly is independent, but tends to lean right-of-center more times than not. Alan Colmes is nothing but a regurgitator of leftist drivel. Now that's the news analysis team. As for the regular news reporting people... there is no bias whatsoever. They report, you decide.

I like Fox way better than CNN, not only for accurate fair & balanced news analysis and reporting, but for financial/economic/business news as well. Neil Cavuto owns.

I'm not defending or attacking either. Fox News is much more bias than CNN.

Untrue. Statistics show Fox actually gives more airtime on issues to both sides, and does less of a slant than CNN.

I'll look for the breakdown of news reporting, but CNN is actually more biased than Fox based on independent analysis.

Of course, to a Canadian Fox news is more biased than Al Jazeera, so a real study might not matter....

I'm glad you believe that, Lyion. It must make it easier to swallow.

I watch both channels, Zan. I'll try and find that report, since it was a pretty good study.

CNN leans harder left, but has more professionalism in the way they do it. Unfortunately they are hard core liberal from the top down, as their heirarchy has proven time and again.

Fox certainly leans riight, but I get the feeling you've never even watched the Brit Hume show or know anything about Fox. Does your country even allow you to watch it?

There are other William O'Reillys that were born 9/10/49 and who worked at Inside Edition?

Bill O' Reilly is a registered independent. That piece of paper is not from the same Bill O' Reilly from Fox News. Anybody could have drafted that and typed his name with some coding at the bottom. Nice try though. It's either that, OR it is his but it's very old... before he became an independent.

Your missing the point, Mindia. That's a PRIMARY voting card. It does not mean he is a card carrying member of the GOP. It does not mean he is a Republican just that he is voting in that primary.

Given it comes from a website named Oreillysucks.com, I wouldn't take it with more than a grain of salt. Anyways, that is from 1994.

O'Reilly has acknowledged that from 1994 until December 2000, he was registered to vote as a Republican. He changed his voter registration from Republican to independent

"I've always been an independent," he says. "I always split my ticket. I vote for the person I think is best."

Anyways, who cares? He's a news analyst and obviously leans right, although not as far as most of the liberal media people.

It's not like he married a dead Republican Senators wife for his money to try and make a run at the presidency as a Democrat or anything, or uses PBS Federal money to push a far left liberal ideaology via taxpayer support.

This is contrary to claims he's always been an independent. When asked why he registered Republican in the past, he claimed that there wasn't a choice on the form for Independent.

Yeah... who cares about a dishonest news analyst who feigns impartial discourse? And Liberals leaning right? 'Splain, please.

Oooooooo, I could feel the sting that illicited this remark... nice change of subject, there. While we're on that subject, George Washington married a VERY wealthy widow named Martha Dandridge Custis, who got her money from her late husband. What a gold-digging asshole The Father of Our Country was! And hey... at least Kerry and Washington saw action in a war oh sanp!

I don't see a box (in section 13) on that form showing an option for "Independent" oh snap!

No, it isn't. You can register to vote in primaries and still be independent. Again, show me where he's a card carrying member of the GOP. I registered Democrat in 90 and 94, :ohsnap: I guess I'm a partisan Democrat!

Diabolik wrote:Yeah... who cares about a dishonest news analyst who feigns impartial discourse? And Liberals leaning right? 'Splain, please.

Obviously I meant Lou Dobbs <heavy sarcasm>. It was implied bias is bias, regardless of what direction. Pretty much all commentators have some. O'Reilly certainly does, but again it's apples to apples.

There you go. If you can't inherit money, you marry into it. In Johnnies case, two times, moving up the totem pole! It's the American way.

No snap, though, sorry. :dunno:

You guys should watch the Outfoxed Documentary. I'm not saying I believe it to be 100% truth or anything like that, and it definetly has its biases and its own way of pushing and molding things. But, if you go into it realizing that and take it with a grain of salt, it is a very interesting watch.
