All you've proved is that Black people test worse than other races NOT that black people are GENETICALLY (that's the key word) predisposed to stupidity.

Athletics is a genetic trait. Find me evidence that says intelligence is genetic and not learned and by all means I'll concede.

But you can't. Furthermore I can find twice as much evidence to the contrary than you can.

Even the idea that having an African genealogy makes you predisposed to athletecism is hilariously naive. I'd try to explain things like genetic variability to some of the posters here, but I think I'll spend my time on something more productive, like teaching a dog differential equations.

Ok so IQ tests which have been a valid gauge of intelligence for years were written to benefit and give better results to white people? Is that what you are saying?

Or maybe I can take your statement at face value, that black people don't test well... WTF is that supposed to mean? A test is a test is a test.

You are either smart or not smart... The answers are right and wrong on IQ tests in other words not prone to interpretation.

You won't even admit that based on the extensive knowledge gathered on the subject of fundamental intelligence that black people could even possibly be intellectually genetically inferior to the other races.

The fact that you can't even admit that the races could even possibly be different on a mental level completely invalidates anything you are trying to say. Blacks have higher bone density, more muscle mass, prone to sickle cell and are better athletes genetically. That alone says the races are a lot more different than the average dumbshit canadian thinks.

Here is the other thing... All those studies aside life experiences prove that Asians>whites>latinos>blacks are the order intelligence. Every fucking school I have EVER attended proves this over and over again.

Here is another thing. FACT: Men are proven to be much more violent than women thanks to things like testosterone and the parts of the brain we engage...

I believe blacks are more prone than anyone to violence and crime. The national statistics in this country prove it hands down. I also think this is genetic. That poor environment arguement is shit. You can compare predominantly white and black areas where the median incomes are the same and the black community will have substantially more crime.

Zanchief you are becoming the new mindia. You haven't said one intelligent thing yet in this thread.

I am very smart but I dont test well. My mind wanders. I skim when I read. I dont understand exactlly what is being asked or I make new meanings for what it is asking (dont ask..).

How about we limit the answers down to 2 possibles instead of a possible 4? Maybe then they can test better.

Its actually not uncommon. Some of the smartest people cant test for shit. A test is not your knowlege of the information, its your ability to answer a given question. You can be an expert in a field but if somone asks a question in some way that you dont think, you may not be able to answer it. Does that mean you not an expert on the subject? There are a whole lot of very successful business people who did horribly in college, do you doubt their knowlege of business? And of the guys I went to college with practically flunked out, he is a major software developer, would you say he is not intelligent?

Test questions are generated based on the point of view of those writing the tests, everyone sees things in a different way. Tests are generally a poor way of determining somone intelligence.

IQ tests are a crock of shit, Kahar, and this is coming from someone who excells at them. Ralf's assumption that IQ tests were a valid metric "for years" is laughable. They've never been that effective, though in recent years they've made an effort to be more than a vocabulary exam.

most tests have very little to do with intelligence, and far far more to do with your ability to memorize facts

to me, I tend to equate intelligence with being able to apply knowledge, learn, extrapolate/interpolate, etc

basically to figure things out you don't already know

I think it's silly to take the behavior of large percentages of black people in this country and tack that on to genetics. The fact that a large number of black people are born into poverty, single parenting, shoddy school systems, and a counterproductive racial culture may be far more likely to be the source of high crime rates.

That said, I've thought about this before and wondered why there have been so few prominent black intellectuals and artists. Furthermore, why have there been extremely few advanced black civilizations throughout history - and why does Africa almost in it's entirity continue to be riddled with such problems, disorganization, and lack of innovation to this day?

You guys are missing the key word from my posts.

I don’t care why IQ tests have failed black people. I don’t care if there is or isn't a hidden agenda of white rich bastards trying to keep the black man down.

My point is it is far from fact that this is a GENETIC issue. Intelligence is a learned behaviour, meaning their environment is to blame for their poor IQ scores. Their race does play a big factor in their environment though, but that is a completely separate issue.

Actually the ability to learn could very well be genetic. In that case, a persons intelligence would be directly related to genetics.

Amazingly enough Xao I do to. But, you only have to look no further then GPA's in Schools, colleges, and high end jobs, Compare them. I am not saying they are stupid but there is a subculture of them that think that we owe them some type of dispensation. How many times have you tried to talk to someone in this gangsta mentality? Hell my 3 year old talks better. The fact is people are going to veiw the whole african american sub species as stupid or lower inteligent until the African American community stands up and says enough!

As it stands I have had 3 black people come in and apply here. One had his ball cap on side ways and a gold tooh up front. I could hardly understand him. Im suppose to let him deal with the public? Number two came in with his pants down around the crack of his ass. Yeah nice outfit for sales dickhead. Third looked like the booth of them put together and talked in some language that remotely resembled english...when I say remotely it would be like the difference between a Turkey and a conrish game hen.

Those are sociological affectations. They have absolutely nothing to do with genetics. If you've never seen white, asian, or hispanic youths acting in a comparably asinine manner, you've never seen white, asian, or hispanic youths.

I have seen them as well.. the main problem is that is all we see in the area where we live. The problem is because we flat out told the person we were not going to hire him because of his appearance and mannerisms, we are no flagged as racist. Oh joy.

The only other testing that we can relate it to is ACT, SAT, ASVAB, scoring. Now I do remember a study done a few year ago. Ill see if I can dredge up a link but on the average Blacks scored lower in all three of these tests then other ethnic classes. I know about the ASVAB scoring because I did alot of paper shuffling in the military. This was a common known factor but it was also proven in a study concerning this test. Again, Ill try and dredge up the case study.

Now is this a genetic disorder or a social disorder? Is it our responsibility to fix it if it is a social disorder? And if it is our responsibility how do we go about fixing it abnd mind you I am not talking about ethnic cleansing. I am talking about finding the cure without killing the patient so please dont jump on me here.
