I'm lucky in that the local Restaurant inspector works part-time with my hub. He always lets us know which places are safe to eat at.

About the only time I'd consider eating at Dennys is if it's like 2 or 3 am and there's absolutely nothing else open. Given that the instances of me being out and about and really needing to go eat a meal at 3am are few and far between, you can guess the frequency of my trips to Dennys.

I think the last time I went, I had gone to a concert in SF, and one of the guys I went with knew the promoter who arranged the show, so me and a couple friends got to go eat with the promoter and the band after the concert. Was like 2:30 am, and we hit a downtown San Francisco Dennys.

Beyond rare situations like that, tho, F Dennys.

Moons Over My Hammy and mini cheeseburgers are teh win. And our Denny's is only 3 blocks from the bar, so double win.

I like all analogs of Denny's just not Denny's itself.

I eat at IHOP. My friends and I go out there pretty often, often enough to have a "regular" waitress and the employees just nod and point us at Mindy's direction. I find that sad, but Mindy doesnt charge us full price, so thats always good.

Denny's food makes me shit while IHOP just tastes good. Last time I ate at Denny's was when I was pregnant and I had a mild gallbladder attack. So I dont eat there anymore.

we skip all that shit and go to the hi-way diner instead

i won't eat breakfast at any establishment that uses frozen potatoes for their hash browns...also dennys bacon isn't crispy it's all floppy like they just sliced it off the waitresses' back.

plus i've heard a lot of horror stories about dennys' kitchens, eggs come in a bag etc...

Denny's uses a carton of egg product I think.
The camp I cooked at used a big plastic bag of egg. They were some good eats, too.

I eat a gigantic dinner plate heaped full of bacon and then have the most explosive diarrhea in the history of mankind for a half hour. Remember that scene in "Dumb and Dumber"?
