My mother has a faulty mitral valve, and I have a murmer and a prolapse (or schism I can't remember which one they found it was), however I know that sometimes I randomly freak out and can't breath when I am doing nothing at all because my heart isn't pumping enough blood due to it swishing back into the previous chamber.

It's the same for me, Adivinia. MVP can mess you up. I was on meds for years for my heart and I always have to have antibiotics whenever I have dental work done. I was also actually congratulated for having 3 kids with no problems while having MVP. Weird.
