you're back to playing this junk? i've thought about loading it back up again, but just can't bring myself to do it.

20 bucks for Titanium, and I'm completely burnt out on WOW.

This is something to screw around with for a bit, and if it's still fun again I'll stay.

Sadly, the learning curve for the 1000 expansions is not simple, and there's no easy FAQ about whats going on.

I'm actually considering dropping $60 to get all 3 accounts up to date...

i re-quit about the time that GoD was released. Got up to the point that i was grouping in RS with my beast, but quit EQ to play WoW. I didn't really enjoy WoW that much, seemed even more repetitive than EQ. So I've been playing poker. If you have any specific questions about the game up to GoD's release, let me know.

it really is. Seems I just picked the wrooooong day to reactivate and buy a lot of higher end items. Apparently anyone that came in contac directly or indirectly with the items sold for cheap by the temporary merchants (or something like that) got rolled back, and when I logged on all that had already happened and I didnt know about it, so i just went along my merry way and bought alllll kinds of shit, so i got rolllled back. I think thats how it worked at least

heh, i remember those first 2 weeks of EQ.... man was that painful, but for some reason it made it even more addicting not being able to play whenever you wanted....

I logged in after I read this, and the general chat alone was worth the cost of Titanium and the Subscription.

Such drama and fun, lol.

I'll be playing later tonight if anyone wants groupage. Look for me on Calyion or Rkana.

OMG Yesterday I propped up my Damon Stoudemire figurine to my keyboard and swam around in circles to bring up my swimming skill during CSI. All those skill points could be wasted?

anyway... I have a feeling I would be lost if I tried to come back and play...

I would have to just stick to Uppers in Velk's Lab, the IG's in EF, and Raids in Vindi for the really UBA Lutes

hmm... if i were to want to upgrade to this titanium crap, do i have to buy the box at a store, or is there a mechanism in game to automatically update to it so you don't have to go buy it at the store? i seem to remember there being something in the server select or chat room screen to purchase expansions at some point? does that still work, and does it work for this Titanium thing?

Thanks, the comic made me smile.

Most of us are clueless. Given EQ is free for a month, its pretty easy to hop on and see if its fun. Its nice at least to run around and check the new places out.

For the spirit shroud guy, what level should I make my character?

Whatever level you want to be at the time in order to group with lower level players.

Is there any benefit to higher or lower level if I'm not grouped with n00bs?

THe level variable is really only so you CAN group with others.

Obviously higher leveled ones will be stronger then their lower level counterparts.
