Hell, if Anaheim can beat Calgary, the Sharks'll have home ice for rounds 2 AND 3. Of course, in the east, it's the top seeds that're winning, so unlikely sharks'd have home ice in the finals, but we can't have everything.

He said he would think about it over the weekend. I'd say a coin toss really, while he is old and all of that he still plays pretty good and seems to be an empowering persona. They just seem to play harder with him on the ice.

The reason the Wings lost this series: Shanahan, Holstrom and Dayuk had 3 goals total for 6 games.

The reason that Detroit lost was that they coasted into the playoffs. They hadn't played a meaningful game in probably 6 weeks, and then ran into a team that had been playing playoff hockey since the olympic break

detroit went 21-1-2 in games with columbus, chicago and st-louis
talk about a padded point total
