Lodizal was a mob in Everquest that dropped the so very desired Lodizal Shell Shield. I always wanted one for my Cleric but the damn TW guilds kept KS'ing it.

I'm not sure if this still happens, but I remember when Quake 3 Arena was all the rage at tournaments, I often saw screenshots from kids with decent machines who turned down all the eye candy to the point where they were practically shooting at boxes and circles and the graphics were generally really washed out. Talk about a major eye sore...

This musta been waaay back in the day. When I had quake 3 my machine could run it at eye level with all the mods on.
