i don't like to exploit people unless i can give them something back for it.

boyfriend's rewards are obvious. alex will inevitably get a mom-paid meal out of it. josh's friends will get beer.

however, all of those people are for the unpacking effort.

most of my hastings friends are out of town (graduated and moved, on vacation, or went home for the summer) or are working sad day~

it just amazes me how much shit there is in my house

You never know how much crap you really have until you have to move it by yourself.

See if you can get some money out of mom and/or dad and pay movers to move it. Just pack it all, as Arlos said, label it "Living Room, couch area" and sort it out when you get to the new place. Or if it is definately trash, like a pizza box, throw it into a cleared out corner of the room and use it as a "trash pile". Just dont go looking at all the pictures you have or flipping through an old magazine (i did that, it took us forver to get out of our old house)

that's kinda the pattern i'm stuck in because i don't want to pack anything that i don't need any longer. so i'm really trying to hardcore condense myself and it's slow going but i feel like i am definitely going to be moving a lot less crap than i would if i hadn't taken the time to go through it all.

it's really not so bad it's just overwhelming.

and now, it's off to the goodwill to make a huuuuuuge donation lol
