Makes me laugh now, but it hurt my feelings real bad when it first came out.
I finally learned to say "fuck them, they dont know me" and now all is well in the virtual world.

Did he even ask you?

I'd stop that boy in his tracks and make him ask you proper, if not!

He says when he is ready he will ask properly after getting my father's permission. My mom is insisting we get married next month before I start to show. Her exasct words were "I can't believe you are bringing another child into this world without a proper last name" No matter what I do she makes me feel like shit. I am never good enough for her. I hate her. I am not getting married. I don't want to get married just because I am pregnant. I did that once, and it was a horrible marriage. I am in such a bad mood now. :-x

Ok....deep breath....don't panic

It's amazing how our parents can still turn us into children, isn't it?

Forget the baby (and your mother) for a bit and focus on the relationship.

Did you want to marry him before you found out you were preg?

You know the horror-to-come signs....do you see any? Does he treat you well? Does he treat your son well?

Decide what you want to do based upon the total package and plan accordingly. You'll be fine.

You probably can't do any better Kizzy, so you should try and lock this guy up.

I mean, you're not getting any younger.

Yes, we were planning on getting married next year.

He's awesome to me and to my son

I'll go ahead and post this in the pregnancy thread, even though it isnt about my own.
Found out today I'm having a boy. 100% sure. Very pronounced penis :)

Ok....so if you were planning on it anyway the baby doesn't really make a difference. You can choose to get married now or wait until after the baby is born.

You're just reacting badly cuz your mom is pushing marriage on you. If she hadn't done that I'd be willing to bet you'd not be so upset about it.

My family name dies with me. Unless I take away the hyphen (sp?) in my daughters name and give her two middle names and do the same with this boy.

So now I need help with a first name for a boy, yall.

I dont want a name every other little boy has. I didnt like it in school, being named Ashley, I had at least 3 others.

So no Josh, and probably not Harrison. That's my sister's dog's name.
I dont like Brendon either.

The only things I could come up with are Parker and Jackson. Not terribly common but still common enough.
But I'm not set on those.
Oh, and Jackson would be naming him after Gid' s family.
