Hey, are we supposed to tip the Sonic people?
Because ever since they added those card machines at the menu board, I dont tip anymore. And it gets uncomfortable when they stand around a couple seconds after I take my food and I'm not handing money out my window.

I always give them a dollar or two. Even if I just get a Cherry Limeade or an Oceanwater. Its fucking hot, and they have to work out in it with stupid rollerskates on.

The Sonic people by my house dont wear rollerskates.

Oh, and the skates are completely optional, I learned.

Yeah, I can see that, as only half of them And NONE of the guys wear them. I always get the same girl though. We call her Wiggles because of the way her booty shakes when she is skating.

I dont go often enough for a regular. Though I should, I found the wonderful joy of the Lemon Berry Slush. It replaced my regular Sonic drink of Cherry Limeade.

Word to the wise... I used to work at a place called The Keg...It was a little more upscale version of Outback when I was 16.

Don't bother giving black people any service. They never tip and want all kinds of free shit to boot. and they're loud and obnoxious. One of the black servers warned me of this when I started there, and I didn't believe him...It took like a month before I saw the light. Most black groups that came in were lucky if I got them water.

Unfortunately, that is true. Black people and foreigners just do not tip well.

sorry I couldn't resist.

i always got pretty good tips from indians, like abu from 7-11 indians.. not tanto indians.

the brothers would only tip if a female was present, or they were drug dealers.

i find that working class blue collar type folks, and young adults tip the best.

Most elderly seem to be bad tippers as well.

I sure do love to hear about people who get all holier than thou about their tips, though. I've had shitty waitresses, sure - they will always still get 15% from me as a bare minimum.

If you've never been waitstaff, you can't possibly fathom the shit a waiter/waitress goes through in a night. It's seriously one of the most difficult jobs you can have, and let me tell you - waitresses would perform a lot better if there weren't assholes in the world that come in at 5 minutes to close and sit there for a 45 minute meal to leave a 2 dollar tip on a 60 dollar bill and leave the section in a mess. Waitresses make 2.13 an hour - waitresses are also human; while yes, as a general rule people in any customer oriented line of work need to put on a happy face, it's not always possible.

I had a blast waitressing; I also made pretty good money most days.. but I also had to work open to close on a fairly regular basis. I'd say for every 3 or so decent tables you get 1 that's absolutely impossible and makes you work your ass off for a bad tip - you always know that type of table right as they walk in the door, and on a Monday night when you know shit's gonna be slow and your revenue for the night will be something around 20 bucks for 7 hours work, it's all you can do not to rip your hair out ><

I usually tip bartenders 3 or 4 dollars a drink, then when they see me come to the bar they usually go straight to me and skip everyone else because they know I tip~

Foreigners probably don't tip well because they aren't used to tipping where they are from. They should catch on tho~

I wish we had a Sonic around here. We have commercials for them, and I get sad because I want one of those little bananna split things.
