your flavor of christianity isn't even older than the USofA. Darwin's
tortoise that just died in Australia predates your cult by a few decades
have fun in hell!

Age or origin of specific religious mythos has no baring on a level of spiritual advancement one can achive through it. In the end it is all the same. All religions came from divine inspiration of one man, later altered by many.
To claim one religion is good and other is bad is rediculous

sorry, but when there are turtles scurrying around older than your religion, it's not exactly a legitimate religion

Thank you Thon, the be-all-end-all for religious authority.

Then why are all Christian Holidays around the same time as Pagan holidays.
Do some research, Jesus was born in the fall when shepeards were out in the fields with their flocks, not at Christmas time.
Just some food for thought
Because placing ones holidays around the same times as another cultures is easier to get them to convert than to make them change their whole 3rd world mentality to celebrate in a completly different month? Along with that Christians had a holiday around middle of decemeber, like every culture at the time because of where it falls in the lunar calander.
Christianity was made to control the masses. Ironicaly pretty much like now to control ppl through fear. Not to win a bet.

Christianity wasn't made to control the masses.
It just ended up being distorted through time to become that way. I blame most of Catholocism

Yup. Historians agree that Jesus' actual birthday was around March or April.
"It has served us well, this myth of Christ" - Pope Leo X, 16th century.

You're welcome. If i'm going to be an armchair God, I might as well point out there's only one "O" in catholicism
before you call anyone else an armchair God btw, it might be wise not to do it in the thread you made to bash another religion. just a thought....

If you are incapable of discerning the difference between Scientology as a "religion" compared to other actual religions...you're fucking retarded.

what test does Scientology fail? what makes a man who dies for our sins, and rises from the dead more of an "actual" religion?

I don't know, are televangelists more legit than Scientology? They claim to be Christian, but I certainly wouldn't consider them such. Are those that send their life savings to Oral Roberts, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Jim Bakker, etc. less delusional than those who follow something L Ron Hubbard made up?

That James Dean Cafe (or whatever it's called) in Paso Robles is pretty good. Seeing the trendy emo teenagers hanging out at the memorial, trying to act cool, was very funny too.
