flowers are just really pretty to look at, i guess, and their choosing takes time and consideration, meaning the guy (if he's smart) took the time to sit and figure out which type of flower or arrangement would suit his lady and how he wants to make her feel. for example, if josh gave me tulips or lilies of the valley i would feel loved and cared for; if he gave me orchids or calla lilies, it would make me feel more amorous than romantic. different flowers evoke different emotions.
i'm just sayin', the gift of flowers involves a lot more than just a slowly dying plant.
I'd give you a batch of dandilions and scream at you to cook my supper.
Those are the flowers I had for my wedding flowers, they are my absolute favorite.
