Personally, I've already met Taxx, infact I did last year already. I have two kids, and two jobs, a dog and a gerbil and I have neither the time, nor the energy currently between all of that and college to go hang at a bar/concert/coffee house whatever just hoping that I'll stumble upon mister right. Works for some people, but not for me.

And also, I'm not ashamed of what I look like, as you can see I have posted my picture as have most of the other ladies of NT. If you don't find me attractive it's no big deal to me, but I'm not hiding my looks any more than you are.

See, and that's the thing. It worked for Taxx, and continues to work for Taxx. I agree with Leah, there is nothing wrong with finding someone on the internet.

You are missing the point. Taxx, like him or hate him, didn't flirt and give chicks special attention. Quite the reverse.

Zans point, which most miss, is.. well, not worth tangenting into the actual meaning, so forgetaboutit....

Meeting someone on the net is fine... falling in "love" with them without ever having met face to face is asking for serious trouble.

It's true about Taxx. The dude never flirted with the chicks on NT. He must have all done it in super secret forums and such.

With me, a long time back, I simply asked him something WoW related in a pm. We were friends and got along for quite awhile and eventually we realized we liked each other.

And Lyion, I get what you're saying, about what Zan's saying.

ya.

josh and i saw pictures of each other first, talked on MSN second, and then met face-to-face a week later. it's not like our relationship has only been internet.

although i did almost get myself tangled in one of those, once. they can be engrossing, especially when you seem to fit so well. /shrug

and i suppose ginz is partly right, in my case. regardless of whether or not anyone else finds me attractive, i have a fairly low self-esteem and so i never found myself attractive. meeting someone and getting to know them before appearances became a factor was really a good thing for me.

Zan, only if I can do you in the butt with a strap on. If not, no way.

Taxx and I didn't work, and I was warned by many people as I jumped head first into the empty pool. Everyone makes mistakes. Just ask your Mom, Ginz.

Glad to hear you two are still doing well, IF.

The ladies don't seem to mind a little flirtation... I think Zan is just jealous because none of the NT pimps are making passes at him.

If I came home to Liza Minnelli I'd flirt with girls on Internet too.

It goes without saying that most of you people are probably unattractive, so you have to cushion the blow of your unsightly physical appearance with a year of e-chat before meeting the person.

But hey, if it works :dunno:

See, I just told myself that it was like meeting someone while engaging in my hobby. If I played tennis, I'd probably meet someone at a tennis court. If I was into drinking and clubbing, I'd probably meet someone at a club.

Works for me. :dunno:

I'm 5'10" 175 pounds of beautiful man.

And I am just trying to get you guys riled up. It's obvious by your pictures that you are not "ugly". rofl.

Can all you dweebs stop acting like the hot girl from high school just walked by? None of you are pulling a Taxx. It's embarrassing watching you guys use your dungeons and dragons charm on these chicks.

Cold shower guys.

Just because I give compliments to the pretty girls doesn't mean I'm hitting on them. If I were to hit on them, I'd use PM's or emails, and I haven't flirted or "hit on" any of them (as of yet).

I was referring to him being 6'5" and less than 175 pounds. I guess you like emaciated guys.

LOL, yeah we all know how you really won that. If it wasn't politically-motivated I would have won.

but see he doesn't look emaciated. i know what you mean; i've seen plenty of people who i would classify as looking emaciated. he carries it well. he's just not built to be very big. /shrug

last year before he hurt his shoulder (there's a bone sticking up where it shouldn't now lol... but he can't afford to fix it yet) he was working out almost every day and was up to about 190 or so, but he looked exactly the same. it's just how he's built, and i think he's sexy ^^
