I figured he'd die getting hit by a bus going into his zoo. He seemed so in tune with animals.

Very very sad. I am really bummed about this. Not only was he very enjoyable to watch, but i always learned something while watching him. His sportscenter commercial is one of my all time favorites too!

It's all on video too apparently, his last moments of life, you see him pulling it out of his chest before he dies. I wonder if that'll ever find its way to the internet. >_<

Oh. I had this theory going in my head that these guys (Erwins, Cousteaus, Hannas) have a special bond with animals in certain environments and get into trouble when they try to venture out... Would have held more water if Cousteau got pummuled by a gorilla or tramped by an elephant. In any case, it's a damn shame Stevo is gone.
