I wouldn't trade Kurt Warner for Vick. Vick plays in a tough division and can't throw many TD passes.
Warner plays in the easiest, and will throw a ton, plus he has a good blocking RB.
I'm fairly satisfied with my team, especially given the amount of players we have.

Yeah RB's are gods in FFB. In one of my other leagues last year someone had Shawn Alexander, got tiki in the 2nd round, and traded after week 2 for LJ (we used a 3 RB set). He traded Culpepper (when he had value last year la!~) TO and someone else for LJ. Outside of those 3 RB he didnt have a player in the top 100 after the trade. He BLEW away the league. So yes if you can get your hands on a top RB you will be a contender.
My team this year isnt bad...but certainly not a FFB winner. However i do have afew people that COULD potentially have great come back year. I took a gamble on acouple of players, hopefully it will pan out

The fact we have 16 people means at most people have 1 of the uberstud RBs. Plus, Gore plays in a pretty weak division, and could have a breakout year.
Several of the bottom tier RBs will have breakout years.
It surprised me people drafted other positions ahead of RB. It's by far the most important position in fantasy.
I'm pretty happy starting Rudy Johnson and Willie Parker.

I'm happy with that Tiki Barber kid because other people seem to think he's good. Not that I have any idea who he is.

Tiki is a fantasy god. His ability to catch the football as well as run it makes him one of the top RBs. He will score you alot of points.

I won my league last year with Frank Gore and Cedric Houston as my starting RBs for my superbowl. Lamont Jordan and Brian Westbrook were my starters all year but were both injured.
The Chicago defense saved my butt down the stretch posting 15-25 fantasy points in each of my last 3 games.
That being said....I'd still never draft a DEF or K before the last 2 rounds.
All of my leagues this year though went to a 2 starting RB roster and no RB/WR slot, so WRs became more of late first round additions.

31 year old undersized Running Backs are a ticking time bomb. It wouldn't surprise me if Tiki gets injured this year, or if he starts to lose a step.
On top of that, the Giants have the hardest schedule in the NFL. I'd personally trade Tiki in a heartbeat, but thats just me.

That is a banner that has been hung over Tiki's head for years. Undersized running back that will breakdown over the year. Every year he remains healthy, and puts up stats. It does get harder with age, but he has been proving people wrong for years.
While the age certainly start to become a concern in a keeper league, for THIS year i doubt it will be a problem. Whoever has tiki, if you want to trade let me know! I am more than willing to take the gamble on him.

Since he's ranked 4, and have very little else to gauge talent on, there are only 3 other players I would trade him for.

I'd only trade tiki for LaDainian Tomlinson, Larry Johnson, Shaun Alexander (straight up)
Altho, if you have an absolute shit QB, trading Tiki for Carson Palmer, Trent Green or maybe Tom Brady, plus a semi decent RB might be a good deal (a Willie Parker, Thomas Jones, Ronnie Brown, etc ie, a 1200+ yrds, 6+ td guy)

Except QBs aren't worth it. The difference in the #2 QB and the #10 QB isn't big week to week.
Going from a healthy Tiki to a Thomas Jones is a massive dropoff in someones points.
The exception are guys getting long in the tooth, ridiculous divisions, and schedules. Unfortunately, Tiki has some odds against him this year.
It's always a gamble, and I had Tiki last year, and he paid dividends for me, but he's due for some bad luck.
