I'm still semi-hardcore, but am nowhere near as hardcore as I was back in Kunark era, etc.

I'm not sure I can level to 60 again, unless it was a new character in BC in newbee lands there.

I'm not sure yet.
I've got to mid 40s on Malfurion (Priest Rogue) two 60s on whisperwind (Warrior Rogue) and a naked 30 warrior on ... Lethon was it?
I'm not completely opposed to a character transfer but I'd rather not to be honest.

Yeah, because Allance's population pissed me off when the game was new.
I am sure it is much worse now.

I dunno, there's never been any alliance equivalent in my experience to the global chat in the Barrens, horde side. Think about all the pitifully retarded EC chat you used to hear, and multiply it by a factor of 100. Never saw anything REMOTELY that bad in any alliance zone, no matter how newbville.

Well, yeah, barrens is pretty ridiculous.
I'd still say overall the kiddies were all on Alliance when I played.

Barrens is great to pick up a few levels when you're starting off, so yeah, there's going to be a lot of immature nOObs there.

It's not just alliance, both factions have a huge amount of young and/or immature people who compose the Bnet and spaz crowds.
It's why I'm interested in seeing if I can get a few others to group with for BC, since I'd like to avoid d00dcentral, and don't want to get back into the hardcore guild routine again.

Arlos is right though, I'm pro-horde and all but Barrens general was maddening.

I never said that there weren't retarded general chats for the alliance. Westfall, Night elf starting land, loch modan, all had their share of idiocy. But ultimately, none of them, NONE of them held a candle to the pure, condensed brainlessness that was Barrens chat.

It has a lot to do with the design of the Horde side. You pretty much HAVE to go to Barrens to exp between 12-20. Alliance has so many more options so those zones aren't as populated. Plus most of the people there are dudes who reroll every week and never get past lvl 30.

Yea I saw the hunter too. I actually sent him this tell from Zanchief my rogue.
Zanchief: Hey what's up, do you know someone called Quolyte or did you ever play EQ on the nameless? You're name seems really familiar.
Like 10 minutes later.
Him: Nah I just stole it from some game.
He must have thought I was weird.

In Warcraft lore Bahgtru was one of the gods of war.
