Those girls left with about $2500 that night. Not bad for about 4hrs work.

"work" used lightly

I wish I could make money that easily. I have a few friends who turned out to be strippers, they make obscene amounts of money for just getting naked.

You're not talking about "guy" friends are you (loaded question)

No, I can name 5 girls I grew up with that are now strippers.

We totally called it when we were younger.

"She's going into porn, or she's going to be a stripper"

If we were wrong, they turned out to be drug addicts who suck dick for drugs, or more.

I don't get the point of bachelor parties. :/

If I wanted to watch strippers/porn/whatever/ect I wouldn't want a bunch of drunk dudes around me. D:

If the whole point is to have one last blast before marriage, just reduce it to its most basic components and hire 5 tai hookers to have their way with you for 12 hours straight. XD

You've obviously never been to one.

many people aren't doing separate parties anymore, they just go out together with all of their friends. at least a lot of people here do that these days. I like it, I have more fun at these. seems so dumb to put that kind of pressure on the night before the big day. why have that behind you...the night before such a beautiful event? I'd rather enjoy it with all of my friends and family and get stupid drunk.

agreed

harrison I have to say I'm pretty intrigued by the company you keep - I've yet to hear a story about your friends, sans adi and ary, that would be the type of company I would keep, which always makes me wonder a little why you act so surprised with some of the stories you post here about your friends ><

I've been to a bachelorette party for my sister, and she had a male and female stripper at a private party.. for me it was just immensely uncomfortable, and certainly not something i would want to take part in for my own bachelorette party. the potential for a fight that it could cause between you and your future spouse is just too high also, even for a last hurrah, a lot of alcohol and naked people just isn't a good mix, imo.

I mean to each his own, it's just not something that strikes my fancy at all

yah I think he should find some friends that are worth a damn.

I think we all forgot about the part where the wife to be doesn't get to know what happened at the bachelor party.

Yeah... what a woman wants at a bachelor party is exactly the opposite of what happens at said event. That's how it should be.

Easier said than done...

My friends worth a damn changed and aren't really anymore.

I have a small handful left now and they know who they are. I would honestly say I have better friends here than I do overall.

Ok so what exactly do people do at these stupid parties

I think I got invited to one once (a cousin's or something) but I didn't go because I am not an uncouth barbarian. :P

Lines of coke as long as your arm, all kinds of naughty things with hot naked chicks, drink to excess, spend lots of money, humiliate the future married man, etc. Great fun.

you can't do this.
1-you prefaced with "not to be a total prick" as if the rest of what you were going to say were of prickish value to say. It wasn't.
2-you lied and said you weren't being a total prick, when you actually were being one, but not because of your lame excuse to flame yamori without having to suffer any feelings of guilt from it but because you prefaced with "not to be a total prick" and then you were one anyway. just not like you hoped.

I went to a bachelor party a while back that he did with his fiance and her friends also, and it BLEW. That completely takes the purpose out of the whole thing.

I see it as a sending off of him and his balls, because after that night they will be attached to a set of vice grips. Its a one last time blast for the guy, why would you want to do it with your future wife ><

It was an honest question and one I've asked twice in the past. I didn't know how else to word it than "socially retarded". A lot of the things he says here leads me to believe he is...

I have no reservations saying what I want to, and if I meant it offensively, I would have simply said so.

I wanted to have a joint party with Gid because I have no girl friends so it would be family and it would blow ass, so I wanted strippers (couldnt get drunk, I was 10 days due with Hailey) but I wanted strippers goddamnit.

We slept at a hotel the night before though. That was pretty nice I guess. He rubbed my feet because they were swollen and my back because it hurt. Was sweet.

I also wanted to go to the club or strip joint while we were in MO, but Gid didnt want to go club to club looking for his little army buddies. Oh well. It was MO, they all probably had no teefs.

Sentro has been dating the girl for just over 5 months now. I know. It's fast! I was completely shocked when I found out. You should have heard everyone at Starbucks look at me when I jumped up and shouted, "WHAT??!Q@#@!!?"

He is young. Hell, I can't even see myself getting married at my age. I'm happy that he's happy though. I'm optimistic about their marriage. I'm definately looking forward to the bachelor party and wedding.

I do have the very difficult task of finding a date for the wedding while on the opposite side of the world. Dunno how that's going to go =P

I didn't say that my bro wouldn't want strippers. I just said that he wouldn't be into a strip club. Neither would I. Strippers at a hotel room would be more like it...

Currently I have no clue what the budget is. I'm trying to contact his friends so that I can figure this out.

What's a fair amount to ask from everyone coming to contribute?

the last wedding i was in, they had a joint party. it was a lot of fun! the couple who got married first met at a party and then the guy moved into a house with his friends and they had parties at their house a lot and that's how the guy and the girl really got close, by spending time together at the parties and then they started dating and then the rest is history. their party, to me, was like a tribute or throwback or something to how they met and how they've spent really good times together. plus, it showed that even though they're getting married, they can still kick it with their friends. it was probably one of the best bachelor(ette) parties i've ever been to.

my other favorite is my friend matt's bachelor party. now, i was in the wedding, so i was supposed to be enjoying myself at the bachelorette party. however, there were literally about 50 girls at the house being taught a (somewhat cheesy) striptease routine (fully clothed, get those minds out of the gutter!). after the strip instructor left, i got overwhelmed by the estrogen and ashlie and i bailed and went to the bachelor party, at a nearby strip joint. i got a lap dance. fun!
