Don't tell you're boss, I think this kinda talk goes against your contract.

the bread at subway is fresh, you can't beat that even in the microwave. I make my own lunch most of the time, as I make my own dinner most of the time, but restaurants are there to treat yourself or if you're in a hurry so why not take advantage of that! I could never replicate the chicken teryaki from there - I've tried, I don't know what kind of teryaki they use but I can't find it in any store for sure, I can't find the onion sauce either >< similar, but never the same. plus subway is cheap.. you said your sandwich is 250, you can get the same sandwich at subway for like 40 cents more, if it's the sub of the day 50 cents LESS, and its none of the work you put into it.
a tuna sandwich is something I always make at home, though.. I've yet to find a restaurant that tastes any better than one I can make at home.
ps your sammy sounds gross, onions olives peppers and oil ftl.

I had a peanut butter sandwich with a sliced apple and some milk. Reminded me of in-school suspension lunches in middle school.

I think your Subway is different from my Subway because over here that same sandwich is 6 bucks.

I typically use a potato bread or on the rare occassion make my own.
Visit a breadstore sometime and just find a few that you like before you say that you can't get better than Subway's.

Blimpies has the most fresh bread IMHO, it isn't crusty like that crap from Subway.
If you tuna lovers haven't tried it, a tablespoon of sweet relish, along with a tablespoon (or 2) of miriclewhip gives it a nice zing.
not tried cuc's that way,
Home made bread can be a win / lose issues, too hot of water or not hot enough, depending on the maker can brickify you loaf ASAP.

haha you just described everything i hate about tuna!
tuna for me = can of tuna + lil bit of mayo. that's it.
subway's tuna is perfect.

I love celery diced in my tuna, with some red peppers and lettuce.
I don't know many people who like the celery, but I do.

Tuna for me is tuna + some mayo + relish. Mmmm.
Even though I prefer Togos and Quiznos to Subway, that doesn't mean I regularly go to any of them. When I want a deli sandwich, I go to one of 2 places: Whole Foods (bit of a trek, so not too often) or a local grocery store called Zanottos, which has a REALLY good deli counter. Whole foods is good cause you know everything is organic, etc., and it actually tastes really good too, even better than the Zanottos sandwich. Not enough better to justify driving an extra 10-15 minutes, though.
The key for me is the sourdough rolls. Both places have bakery-quality rolls, which you just can't get at a supermarket, really, certainly not that fresh as they're always backed that morning. Nothing beats a sandwich on a really nice and sour sourdough roll, with the bread soft, and the outside crust nice and hard and crispy... Sandwiches on normal bread just can't begin to compare, nor can major-store-bought sourdough rolls, which never have that hard outer crust.
I suppose I could hit up a bakery and buy a couple days worth of rolls, etc. but they tend to go stale REALLY fast if you keep them exposed to air at all, but if you put 'em in plastic, the crust gets too soft.

Blimpies made me sick once about 12 years ago. I haven't gone back since.
Celery is not good on it's own. It's only good to add texture to something, like a bloody mary. Mmmm.... bloody mary.

My ex loved those, I can't bring myself to drink one.

Me too, I've had blimpies 3 times in my life, every time I've gotten sick and it tasted horrible.
Tuna is tuna, a little mayo, mustard, and lots of relish for me ~

I'm a simple person =/
If I go to subway, I always get a 6 ham and cheese on white with light mayo and light lettuce
Quiznos I get a medium sized turkey, cheese, lettuce and honey mustard thing
For regular sammiches I prefer oven roasted turkey, cheese, light mayo, mustard on whole wheat bread.
and like Leah, I never fall for the value meal with chips or cookies. I just get a lemonaid or something
